"Ahhhhh!" I jumped around my room in excitement. Today I was going to Comic-Con and I was going to meet the cast of Stranger Things. "Amelia, are you ready to go?" My mom called. "Yeah I'm coming!" I said tying my shoes. I ran to my bathroom to make sure I looked good. I scrunched my reddish curls and then let them fall down to my shoulders and walked out the door.

~time skip to Comic-Con~

I walked up to the front of the large building and gave the people working there my ticket and went it. "Woah." I whispered under my breath. It was really crowded. Like reeaallyy crowded. People everywhere dressed as characters from their favorite comic books. I saw fans taking pictures with them. And then I saw the Stranger Things cast. I quickly walked over to get in line to meet Finn. Unsurprisingly, it was a decently long line. Besides Finn, I saw Noah, Gaten, Caleb, Millie, Sadie, Joe, Dacre, Natalia, David and Shannon. After waiting for some time, I finally got to meet Finn.

He's even more beautiful in person I thought. "Hi!" I snapped out of my thoughts. "Hi." OMGOMGOMGOMG "Hi." I said. "You are..?" "Amelia. My names Amelia." "Nice to meet you Amelia." "You too Finn." "Can we take a picture?" "Yeah of course!" He smiled. I pulled my phone out and took a selfie of us. "Thank you!" He nodded. I met a couple other cast members who were also really nice and down to earth, and then I got to Sadie. While meeting some of the kids, I saw the Duffer brothers look at me a few times and then talk to each other and someone else. At least I think they were looking at me. I brushed it off. "Hi Sadie!" "Hi! You're hair looks really nice!" "Thank you!" I blushed. We took a picture and right as I was about to walk off, I heard my name and I spun around. The Duffer brothers approached me. "You're Amelia, right?" "Yes...?" I said confused. "Amelia y/l/n?" "Yes.." "Did you send us a tape auditioning for the rold of 'Lauren Cooper' Stranger Things season 3?" I nodded. "Guys, I think this is her!" One of them whisper shouted. I furrowed my eyebrows. They took me into a back room away from all the other people and fans. The siblings talked with someone for a minute then got back to me. "Well, Amelia, we were going to email you, but since you're already here we're going to tell you now. We've cast you as Lauren Cooper in Stranger Things 3!" My jaw dropped instantly. "W-what?!?" "Are you being for real?" "Yes." "Oh my god, oh my god!" "Holy crap this is amazing!"

The Duffer brothers talked with my mom and we agreed to do it. We exchanged contact information and said that they'd contact me about flying to California, cast dinners, filming and things like that.

Wow, I thought. I'm going to be in Stranger Things.

~time skip to the cast dinner~

I walked into a room wearing a black fit and flare dress and a pair of tan heels (about 2-3 inches) and saw the Stranger Things cast. They all were sitting down and talking. The Duffer brothers saw me and greeted and introduced me to the cast. "So, everyone," Ross started, all eyes on us. "Please give a warm welcome to the newest addition to our cast, Amelia Y/l/n! She will be playing Lauren Cooper." The room erupted into applause. I did a small wave and smiled. Matt took me over to the table where everyone else was sitting and pointed out my seat. There was a card on the table that had my name on it. I pulled out the chair and sat in-between Sadie and Finn. "Hi Amelia! I'm Sadie!" She said as we shook hands. "Hey.. you look familiar..." She said as I just looked at her. "Oh! didn't you go to the meet in greet at Comic-Con?" "..Yeah." "Oh I remember you! And I like your dress! It's so pretty!" "Aw, thanks!" I said while blushing. I'm pretty sure Sadie noticed and gave a slight smile started blushing too. ........ I had a really nice dinner, and it was really fun hanging out with the cast and getting to know them more.

I exchanged phone numbers and Snapchats with the cast and said my goodbyes. I walked only a couple steps out of the restaurant when Finn caught up with me. "Hey Finn. Are you going this way too?" "Yeah. I figured I'd walk with you." I felt mini butterflies in my stomach. No, Amelia you can't start to fall for Finn, you just met him. I thought for a second. Or Sadie. - "Well that's nice of you." I replied with a smile. Our hands brushed slightly and he quickly pulled his away. "I-I'm sorry." He looked down. "It's okay." I said, feeling my cheeks get a little warm. "Have a good night Amelia." He said getting into his car. "Thanks, you too." I said getting into mine as well.
