It was later at night. Midnight arrived, and it was quiet at the camp. One by one, the members of the group became tired and decided to call it a night. Pretty soon, everyone was asleep, but the only three who were still awake were Aiden, Gill, and Maya.

Despite feeling tired, Aiden couldn't go to sleep. After what he saw the night before, he knew that Entity 303 was going to come back for him, or worse, the others. He didn't want to go to sleep, for the safety of his friends. As everyone went to bed, one by one, fear continued to grow in Aiden's thoughts. He was already on high alert as he stayed with the group, but after Gill told him that scary story, it only made him more worried.

Aiden was wide awake, sitting in the hut where the cameras feed were set up. He constantly checked each computer monitors, seeing if there was anything out of the ordinary. Only regular mobs like zombies were present. Once in a while, he'd see something like a witch or an endermen, but the mobs didn't bother with the cameras.

As he sat there in a chair, checking each camera, Gill and Maya came over to the hut. They were worried about their friend when they saw that he was still wide awake.

"Hey dude..." Gill said quietly.

He and Maya walked over to Aiden.

Aiden turned around to face them. He didn't smile, but he didn't frown.

"Hi guys..." he said, showing no emotion in his tone.

"Look... I'm sorry if I scared you earlier with that fake story I told you. It was just a story, but I didn't mean to spook you..." said Gill.

"No. It's fine. I shouldn't be paranoid, but... that's my fault that I am..." said Aiden.

"Aiden, are you sure you're okay? Maybe you should come to bed," said Maya.

"I'm fine. I want to stay up and keep an eye on the cameras," said Aiden.

"Dude, I think you should get to bed. You need sleep after... whatever happened last night happened," said Gill.

"Guys, I'm fine. Really I am," Aiden lied.

Maya shook her head. She gently took his hand and said, "Come on. Why don't we go to bed?" in a whisper.

Aiden wanted to object, but Gill said, "I'll keep an eye on the cameras before I go to bed."

"Just let me know if you see anything that might come after the camp. Please," said Aiden. As he spoke, he now showed emotion. He looked and sounded worried.

Gill gave his friend a small smile and said, "It'll be okay, Aiden. I promise."

"Okay..." Aiden said quietly.

Aiden followed Maya and the couple walked to the hut that they built for them to sleep in for the night. The two changed into their pajamas, and after brushing their teeth, they turned off the lights and were ready to go to sleep.

Maya dozed off quickly, but Aiden stayed wide away. As Maya fell asleep, Aiden held her in his arms and gently stroked her hair. Even after Maya was asleep, Aiden couldn't close his eyes and go to sleep. He just smiled sadly as he looked at his girlfriend, holding her close to him.

After an hour or two after Maya fell asleep, Aiden slowly and carefully let go of Maya. Maya stirred in her sleep a bit as he moved her away from him, but she didn't wake up. After he was sure that Maya was still asleep, Aiden quietly got out of bed. He slipped on his shoes and crept back to the hut with the computer monitors set up.

No one else was awake now. Even Gill wasn't around. When Aiden returned to the hut with the computer monitors, Gill was gone. He must've gone to bed, which meant that Aiden was the only one awake now.
