It's never good to say goodbye with tears on the edge of your eyes.

No more fairytales to tell when the one you love betrays your trust.

There's no notice to our end nor a way to mend the pain.

You used to say we had it all, yet here I stand with open arms.

The harder I swallow more tears sting my eyes.

How can we ever say goodbye?

Our world is crashing inside our minds, all memories consumed by lies.

And your final writings repeat over and over behind my eyelids at night.

Still, I whisper to the moonlight: "How can I ever say goodbye?"
