The bullying in Mina's life was too much to handle without hobbies. She couldn't do much, but she had a hobby. She adored painting, drawing, sketching, and scribbling to the best of her abilities, whenever she had the chance. Holding a pencil in her long, thin fingers was enough to make her smile.

Mina wasn't very popular in school. She had many friends, but the majority couldn't speak. They were emotionless. Inanimate. Unable of showing emotions, apart from the ones sewn to their lips.

The amount of times she has been caught talking to her little "carry-to-school" stuffies (which is what she calls the little ones, since they fit in her pocket) are countless. But she loves them nonetheless, especially her chubby bunny which she had named cookie when she was little. She named her favourite bunny after her favourite snack because she loved home made, warm, fresh cookies whenever she was upset or frustrated. They had an essence of calm to them that she couldn't even begin to describe.

Mina had the mindset of a three year old, cuddling her teddies and occasionally having a tantrum, but she had the imagination of a best selling author. However, instead of writing her thoughts and feelings on paper and turning it into a novel, she was painting her way through her (seemingly-boring) life.

Her mother had always encouraged it. She wanted a daughter with many talents, and painting was the perfect opportunity for her to see that she was talented and she could go far in her life with one singular talent.

The only problem she saw in her daughter was the immense stuffy addiction. But she would never give up her stuffies. Never ever.

She made that clear when she protested to her mother, managing to tie the majority of her stuffies to her legs, body and arms (and one on her head) when her mother said that she should throw them away because she's "too old" for them now.

Mina was difficult, yes, but has always said that she didn't need a partner or significant other when she had her trusty stuffies with her. Her mother was glad that she wasn't relying on a boy to make her happy.

The only significant others in Mina's life were the gorgeous paintings that she put metaphorical blood, sweat and tears into to create. They were all that mattered.

Well, them and her stuffies.
