"Taehyung, sweetie. You're going to have to tell me what's wrong otherwise how am I supposed to make it better?" She asked, wiping a tear mark from his cheeks, "would it make it easier if I held your hand?"
She shuffled closer to him on her knees, looking up at him. He had lost eye contact. He found it physically impossible to look at her at that point without bursting into tears. He had no idea what was going on inside his head, or why it was happening. He had never felt like this before.
Her hand rested softly on his forehead.
"Are you sick?" She asked, "do you have a fever?"
"It's not that" he whispered, taking her hand away from his head.
"Taehyung," she chuckled out of fear, "you're really scaring me"
She held up her hand, showing him how much she was trembling. It was as if she was being electrocuted. Her extremities couldn't keep still and she was getting goose bumps. Every single hair on her cold skin was standing on ends. The way he was making her feel scared her to the point where she almost cried.
"Mina," he whispered, holding her small, cold, un-life-like hand, "I really don't know how to tell you this"
"What?" She whispered, pressing her soft lips against his warm hand, "you can tell me anything. I promise, just say what you want to say"
"Can you not look at me for a second?" He asked, putting a hand over her eyes, "I need to figure out how to say it"
She covered her eyes for him, almost falling into the coat stand from shaking too much. He held her so she wouldn't topple over, sighing.
"I'm just going to say it" he said.
"Okay"
"M-Mina?" He quivered, his words uneven and shaky.
"Yes Taehyung?" She asked, trying to remain calm. There hadn't been a moment in her lifetime where she felt more nervous than this.
"I think I love you"
