"My baby.." Mina sniffled, stroking the weakened kitten on her lap, "Taehyung this is all your fault!"
He flinched, knowing that this conversation was pretty much inevitable. He had been dreading it ever since he got in the car.
He knew he shouldn't have tried to leave when he had nowhere to go, but it was hard for him. He just wanted her to see that he loved her so much that he was willing to lose her.
"I'm sorry- can I make it up to you two?" He asked, sitting next to her, "I can go and make you some pancakes?"
"Kittens can't eat pancakes"
"Pancakes with little cat biscuits in them?"
"I'm fine, thank you Taehyung. Just go and put your frame back in my room please, and don't move it again. I'm fed up of these silly issues that you cause almost every day" Mina hissed, re-adjusting the plastic cone around the kittens neck. She had needed minor surgery to pull out the splinters, meaning that she couldn't eat for twelve hours whilst the stitches sealed the cut on her neck.
"What's he done to you?" Mina sighed, holding the kitten in her little pink blanket, "all he's done is cause you and I trouble. And I've let him do that to the both of us- but I won't anymore. I promise"
The kitten stirred, uncomfortable in her new jewellery set- a big cone, four bandages and a tag on her ear from where Taehyung had got it caught in the door frame whilst walking into the emergency room with her. She would probably be wishing a curse on him right now if she could speak.
"Mina! It's too heavy!"
"Oh my goodness" she sighed, resting the kitten on the sofa cushion.
She watched Taehyung in complete agony whilst trying to drag his frame up the stairs, laughing so hard that tears were welling in her eyes.
"You look so stupid" she chuckled, laughing at his bright red cheeks, "you look like you're taking a- oh god! Moms home!"
"What?!" He screeched, almost throwing the painting down the stairs once more.
"Quick! She's just pulled up- you're going to have to get back in your frame right now or she'll see you!"
The next twenty four seconds was a blur. Taehyung somehow gathered the strength to pull the frame up the rest of the staircase and dragged it all the way to her room and Mina carried the kitten up the stairs as fast as she could without hurting her. If her mother had seen what had happened, she would be incredibly upset with her.
"Mina! I'm home!" She called, locking the door, "I brought pizza, I thought you would have been a little lonely over the last five days"
"Ooh! Bring me back a slice?" Taehyung asked, climbing through the frame.
"Shut up!" Mina hissed, pushing him through.
"Owie.." he frowned, sitting in his original position, "jokes on you- you now owe me two slices"
