Shuichi's POV

Uggh! I fell for one of Kokichi Oma's pranks AGAIN! He's such a motherfucking compulsive LIAR!

This time he insisted that he had successfully spoken to Kaede's soul and that she told him that she hated my guts and only pretended to like me.

Luckily I have Hiraki Hinata, the Ultimate Psychic at my side. Long story short, Kokichi lied.

Fucking bastard.

But anyways, enough was enough. I decided to confront the sneaky prankster myself to get him to stop.

"Kokichi!" I snarled as I stormed over to him. He was seated calmly on a bench, his legs gracefully crossed with an open magazine propped up in his lap. He looked up and smiled innocently. I immediately froze in my tracks.

You see, Kokichi can be a total dick at times, but when he smiles like that, everything changes. He has the sweetest smile a guy could- wait, what was I talking about?

"What is it?" Kokichi asked, closing his magazine and setting it aside. He motioned for me to sit down and I mechanically obeyed.

"I'm sick and tired of you lying to me all the time! You know that I can figure out when you're lying, thanks to Hinata-chan, so why do you even bother?" Kokichi frowned, uncrossed his legs and turned toward me.

"Is it becoming too much of an issue?" he asked sadly, throwing me off. I quickly regained my ground and remained firm.

"Yes!" I cried and he sighed.

"Very well then," he said, leaning back. He gave me a devilish look and grinned. "Perhaps we could make a deal?"

"A deal?" I inquired.

"A little bet, to get me to stop lying."

"Oh...?"

"If I can successfully go twenty-four hours without lying, I get you to myself for a night." He slyly smirked in a flirtatious way and I blushed vibrantly. Suddenly he seemed too close for comfort.

"A-and if you can't...?" I stammered. He pulled back and frowned, giving me a chance to relax. He pondered this for a bit before responding.

"I will be your slave for a full week." I raised an eyebrow.

"A week? But that doesn't match up..." He stood up and leaned forward so his face was inches from mine. I gulped.

"I only need one night to make you mine forever," he whispered as his finger traced my jawline. His violet eyes gazed into mine and I trembled.

"Now, don't get too excited, Saihara-kun. I may lose the bet." He pulled away and spun around, waving to me as he walked away. I looked at my watch and noted the time: 11:45 am.

The bet has begun.

Hiraki's POV

"You WHAAAAAAT?!" I yelped after Shuichi explained the bet he mad with Kokichi to me. He stared at his lap silently. I scoffed and leaned back in my chair, plopping my feet on the table.

"You are really an idiot, Saihara," I said, shaking my head. He gave me a look and sighed.

"Can you just check?" he asked in exasperation. I rolled my eyes, took my feet off the table and let my mental waves float throughout the school.

"Heh...Miu's flirting with Kiibo again... Gonta's playing with bugs...Maki's chatting with Kaito...nope, no lies from Kokichi just yet." Shuichi ran his fingers through his hair and growled in frustration.

"It's been three hours!" he cried.  "How can a compulsive liar like him go three hours without telling a lie?!"

"Maybe it's because I'm not a compulsive liar," Kokichi said as he entered the room with Monokuma.

"Lemme guess," I said sarcastically. "You were just chatting with Monokuma when you happened to stumble upon our conversation."

"No. I was actually helping Monokuma find you guys." My jaw dropped. This boy was determined to win this bet.

<Tell me again what he gets if he wins?> I whispered to Shuichi so the others couldn't hear. Shuichi blushed and pointed to himself. I raised an eyebrow and turned to Monokuma.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Pupupupu....I received a picture from a strange man not too long ago and I didn't know what to make of it...so I thought I'd have you take a look." He handed me a photo and I looked at it. I let out a loud gasp and dropped it like it was made of flames. Monokuma simply giggled. Kokichi frowned and picked it up.

"A ransom note is on the back," he murmured. "'Hiraki: we have your brother. Graduate soon and we'll let him go. Fail and he's dead.'..." Shuichi gasped, ripped the photo from his hands and read the note to confirm it. I began to cry and Shuichi hugged me tight. Monokuma skipped out of the room, humming a little tune that was music to his ears only. Kokichi gritted his teeth and clenched his hands into fists. He then relaxed and turned to me.

"There's a possibility that it's just Monokuma messing with you. Don't fall for it. Your parents stopped Monokuma before and I know you'll be able to do it too." I rubbed away my tears and nodded.

"Thanks, Kokichi," I murmured as I left the room. Kokichi was right. It could just be Monokuma messing with me.

Sorry, Monokuma, but this won't break me.
