Chapter 4: "Monihio is Coming"

Shuichi's POV

"WAKE UP, SLEEPY HEADS!!!!" crowed Hiraki, flinging the door wide open. Kokichi sat up next to me, rubbing his eyes.

"I thought I locked the door...?" he mumbled.

"I had Monokuma open it for me," she said with a grin. "You guys sleep well?" I buried my face in a pillow and let out an angry scream. Hiraki put up her hands in defense, backing away slowly.

"Okay, okay. Sounds like Saihara-kun isn't a morning person."

"Not when an obnoxious female bursts in and interrupts his sleep. What time is it?"

"Six am." I sat up and glared at her.

"And why in fucking hell would you wake me up at six in the morning?" I snarled. She shrugged.

"Monokuma told me to." I flicked my gaze over to the two-toned bear, who simply giggled. I groaned and buried my face in my hands.

"We'll meet you in fifteen minutes," I muttered as I waved them away. The two left and closed the door behind them. Kokichi flopped back down on the bed and sighed.

"My ass hurts," he whined. I chuckled and snuggled next to him.

"That's not what you said last night," I whispered. He blushed and I laughed as I slid out of bed and got dressed. Kokichi took a little longer to get going, but we ready to go in fifteen minutes, as promised. Kokichi nudged my hand with his and I smiled, taking his hand in mine, our fingers intertwined. We walked to the cafeteria together, hand in hand.

Hiraki's POV

"So you guys are official now?" I asked as Kokichi and Shuichi walked in, hand in hand. Shuichi blushed and shrugged.

"I guess," he said with a smile. Kokichi grinned and leaned against Shuichi.

"🎶Shuichi and Kokichi sitting in a tree~🎶" Kaito crowed.

"Kaito, no," Shuichi groaned.

"🎶K-I-S-S-I-N-G~🎶"

"Kaito, please stop," Kokichi hissed.

"🎶First comes love, then comes marriage~🎶" Kaito tore up a napkin and sprinkled it over the couple.

"Enough, Kaito," Maki snarled.

"S-sorry, Maki Roll," Kaito stammered, retreating to a corner.

"I don't get it," Kiibo said, his face portraying a confused expression. "What is the point of being gay?" Tenko knelt in front of the seated robot so that their eyes were aligned.

"The point of being gay...is being gay!" She said with the stupidest smile on her face that poor Kiibo fell over backwards in his chair.

"We're not...entirely gay..." Kokichi mumbled.

"What do you mean?" Kiibo asked from the floor, stuck in a position that would not allow him to get up.

"You're bi?" I asked, leaning on the heel of my hand. They nodded. I smirked slightly at the thought. Maybe I hadn't entirely lost my chance with those two....

"Pupupupupupu..." A familiar laugh echoed throughout the cafeteria.

"MONOKUMA!!" we all shouted in unison, spinning around to face the two-toned pest.

"I got you guys a present!!" he chirped, holding up a CD. He handed it to me and trotted off. I looked at in confusion and we all headed to the multimedia room. We put in into one of the computers and all crowded around it to watch. It was Yûhi. He was safe...I let out a sigh of relief.

"Hello, everyone. I would probably assume Hirakinee-san already informed you about me, but I'll introduce myself anyways. I'm Yûhi Hinata, Hiraki's younger brother. Monokuma probably showed Onee-san the photo of when I got kidnapped, but my parents were able to get me free." He grinned and I chuckled. That was like our parents, always trying to make sure we are safe. He cleared his throat and continued

"But I'm not talking to you to inform you of my safety. It's the Future Foundation I want to warn you about." Muttering rose among the others, asking about the Future Foundation.

"It was the Future Foundation who kidnapped me because I am the child of the Remnants of Despair. So is Onee-san. None of you are safe. The Future Foundation believes that because Hiraki is at your school that you too will become the new Remnants of Despair. But that's not true!" Yûhi was obviously angry, because he slammed his fist on his desk loudly, the noise causing multiple people to jump.

"Here at Hope's Peak Academy, all my classmates are fine! None of them are showing signs of the Remnants, so what is the Future Foundation worrying about? The Future Foundation is trying to kill us all! You guys have to get out of that school, and FAST! And Hiraki...if you're watching this...Monihio is coming." The screen went black. 

"Monihio?" I muttered, confused.

What did Yûhi mean?
