Early 2016:
In the Dreamlands, shortly after killing her father and gaining the rank of Battle Guardian, a young girl named Fable, daughter of the mythically known woman called The Lady in the Trees, was summoned to the Grand Hall of Taythen, the base of High Haldin and home of many Haldin ancestors who have died.
Upon entering a huge room, Fable was greeted with a nod by the third brother of Haldin himself, beside him stood his eldest apprentice, "Brother," she greeted as she bowed, "You called for my request of a mission?" he just nodded.
"Fable Haldin, I have found a mission that is very demanding, and may very much require all three of your powers, it must be done within seventeen seconds or less, any more time than that and your spirit may be killed." his voice was loud and echoed through the hall as he spoke.
Fable nodded as she accepted that risk, "Target's name?" she asked.
"Leonard Snart, you will receive a photo after accepting." he replied simply.
"What is the objective?" she stood straight as she addressed him again.
"Go to the area that will be given to you upon accepting the mission, grab the man who is about to sacrifice himself as the machine that fail safe he is holding blows, upon seeing the explosion start you must run, do not fail, and do not waste what little time you have to do this in." he was so quiet he was almost whispering as he finished speaking.
The Brother was pleased as she accepted and walked out of the Grand Hall, "Sir?" his apprentice spoke quietly.
"Yes?" the Brother spoke after a moment to make sure Fable was out of earshot.
"You lied to her about the amount of time, it's really eleven seconds she has, is this her suicide mission Sir?" the Brother just nodded in reply to his apprentice.
Seconds later he finally spoke again, "She is getting strong enough to endanger my title." with those words his apprentice bowed and left the Hall of Taythen to visit his family among the living mortal Haldin Order.
Fable had received the remaining details regarding her mission and was ready to leave, but she then seen the list of completed missions that she had almost forgotten to grab.
She had seen it on the floor right as she was grabbing her cloak and decorative facial mask for conserving her identity, granted she wasn't quite a normal human living in the human world, she still had the fear of being found out either way.

Arriving at the destination much earlier than she had to be there, she scoped out the area, but soon something caught her attention, a man of ancient origin, she was sent to protect him once, back in the 1600's.
"Thank you for informing us, we will be rid of them once they come seeking your demise." a man of seemingly high standing said speaking to the bearded man.
She stayed out of the way, watching everything from above, these people known as Time masters couldn't control her motives thankfully, as she lived outside of the world where time could be touched and altered.
They had no idea they were even being watched, the group who had arrived were very randomly selected by the view she had of them, but after seeking out their thoughts she realized they all had stories much similar, heartache, pain, suffering, pasts they were not all proud of.
The team of misfits did however work together like a well oiled machine, with grace and teamwork, all of their fighting styles fitting together like puzzle pieces.
Some had powers and weapons that she enjoyed watching them use, one girl in white leather caught her eye as she had only a staff of metal and not a single magical power, but upon hearing her thoughts she knew, this woman needed none.
