Chapter 4: The Welcoming

I saw a huge and i mean HUGE cavern with uneven rock forms everywhere, stalagmites littered the ground and stalactites hanged at the ceiling, areas were carved into the walls for storage areas, narrow pathways and bridges littered the cavern with no railings to stop any deranged maniacs to push another overboard. There were a few Dauntless here, some hung around the rooms in the walls, teenage girl and her boyfriend were snogging with their feet dangling on the edge of a canyon, kids ran around seemingly unaware of the dangers of what may happen to them, i noticed something nd was about to tell jack when the girl from amity pushed me"opps sorry, loser! hahaha!" the girl from amity said then four said"enough, this is the pit, this is the heart or main source for the Dauntless, you will get use to it" we walked to a chasm was the only barrier with water crashing down there "this is the chasm,its a reminder to all of us that there is a fine line between bravery and idiocy, you get any ideas of being like superman and jumping off, it will be the last and most stupidest thing you'll ever do" then we went to a room divided to parts but it was a big space and also it really messy and dirty except for the bedrooms, there was 4 bedrooms filled with 2 bunk beds, there was a hall and five bathrooms, we were divided into groups, i was with jack, beccy, and aura then we changed into our dauntless outfit, i put my dresser in the bedroom, there were 4 dressers for each of us after that went to the cafeteria, i got some food from the table i found where all the transfers were, i sat between jack and beccy, then i was not familiar with the food so i examined the food i think it is called meat then beccy said "what haven't eaten cheeseburger""no i only ate bread and leftovers in abnegation""here eat it like this" then she showed me how to eat the food then we all introduced ourselves(amity girl- brittany, erudite boys- nick and james, candor boy- logan, random girl- drew, abnegation boys- billy and peter) then came four called our attention "intiates stand, we are grateful for you to choose dauntless and u have bravery and courage for choosing us and now you are dauntless" we all appladed and the dauntless carried us up and we're crowd surfing then we all when to sleep then.....
