She smiles and pats Ella on the head after finishing tying her up and throwing her on the bed.
"My parents will be home soon." She tries her best to scare her off. Ella hopes she will just run away and leave her tied up here until Monday when her parents come back.
"No they won't." She replies simply. "They are on vacation until Monday." She glares at Ella, insulted that she thinks she is stupid enough to believe that.
The intruder grabs Ella's phone and sends her parents a quick 'love you, I'm doing great' text so that they will not be worrying about her. She throws her phone in the corner
"Ready to go?" She asks as if they are on their way to a date.
Ella shakes her head. "Please don't do this." She whimpers, trying to present herself as stronger than she is. She is terrified of what she is going to do to her but she doesn't want her to know that.
"Oh sweetie," she bends down and touches her face. She moves her face away from her cold fingertips. "I'm doing this for us." She smiles as she catches Ella's glance. She grabs her arms.
Ella screams and tries to wiggle herself out of her grip as she lifts her off of the bed.
She can tell she isn't going to make this easy on her. She is going to have to do some convincing.
She sighs. "You made me kill her!" She stands up straight and points angrily at Aubrey's body. "Do you really want to make me kill you too?!"
Ella nods. She would rather be dead than have to live another moment without Aubrey. She also knows death may be her only escape from this woman.
She kneels back down as she sighs and touches Ella's knees. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to say that. I didn't mean it. I will never hurt you baby, I love you." She touches a piece of hair on Ella's face and moves it away from her eyes so she can see them clearly.
Ella breaks down. She can no longer hold back her tears. She can't believe this could be happening to her right now. She wants to wake up from this nightmare.
"Now come on, let's go. It's time to go home." She taps her cheeks lightly and lifts her off of the bed bridal style.
Ella tries to fight but her effort proves to be useless since she is tied up at the wrists and ankles. Her arms are pinned behind her back making it impossible to fight back against her anyways.
On the way out the door, she grabs Ella's Father's car keys. She exits the house with Ella and opens the trunk. Since her parents took her mom's car with them on vacation, Ella's father left his car for her to use this weekend.
She smiles and grabs the top of the trunk, looking down at Ella inside. "How did I get so lucky?" She asks herself as she slams it shut.
Ella's eyes dart back and forth in the pitch black trunk. It is completely dark inside except for one thing: the glow-in-the-dark emergency release handle. Ella knows that if she can pull that handle, the trunk will open and she can get out.
Escaping out of a moving vehicle may kill her but at least she won't suffer at her hands anymore. Being out of the trunk would mean freedom for her. Even if it is only for a split second.
She tries to maneuver her arms around her body to grab the lever above her head but she does not have the flexibility to do so. She takes a deep breath and lifts her head off of the carpet and opens her mouth, reaching for the little green handle with her teeth.
She gives up and slams her head back down on the bottom of the trunk when she realizes there is no use in trying any longer. She can not reach.
AN: what is your impression of Ella?
