With each passing day, Ella's parents and the police fear for her more and more. After two days passed, her chances of being found alive dropped by almost fifty percent. Now that even more days have passed, the percentage continues to drop rapidly.

Her parents know the woman they are dealing with here but they have absolutely no idea exactly what she is capable of and what she could do to their daughter.

Police search for leads and try to alert the public as best as they can in an attempt to find Aubrey's killer and Ella's kidnapper. So far, they really do not have much to go on. They have her name and her criminal record but in this case, knowing all that really doesn't help them find Ella.

They have searched every property Shawna ever stayed at, only to come up short every time.

They are stalled in their investigation. No one in the neighborhood seems to have seen or heard any suspicious activities on the night of Ella's disappearance. Police have questioned everyone in the neighborhood yet no one was able to offer even the smallest of clue for them.

Due to the tough situation both families have found themselves in, Ella's parents and Aubrey's mom have been in constant contact, updating and checking on each other as this difficult process unfolds. They both understand how hard this situation is for the other since they are going through the same thing.

Aubrey's mom has not stopped crying since she found out about her daughters death via the daily news. Police failed to tell her before the story broke. She is absolutely heart broken and doesn't want to continue living her life without her daughter in it. The only thing she is holding on to life for is the hope that police will somehow be able to find Ella. Alive.

Ella's mom stops pacing her kitchen when her cellphone rings. She lifts it off the counter and eagerly presses it to her ear, not bothering to see who is calling. She doesn't care. It could be important.

"Mommy?" Ella cries on the other end of the line.

"Ella? Baby is that you?" Her mother asks as she hears the sweet tone of her daughter's voice. She bursts into tears upon hearing her daughter speak. This is confirmation that she is still alive. That is all she needs to keep her going right now. She is overjoyed to hear her baby girl speaking to her right now.

She is alive. She is still alive.

"Mommy it's me. Please you have to help me. Go to the police. She's back." Ella informs her mom.

"Where- do you know where you are honey?" Ella's mom speaks quickly so she can hear Ella's voice again.

"No, I don't know where I am. It's a hous-" Ella's mom listens as her daughter speaks. Ella's mom tries to get her husbands attention so he can call the police and update them.

Ella's mom screams as her daughter screams out in pain. She hears the phone crash to the floor as her daughter is attacked.

"Ella?! ELLA?!" She yells into the phone. By now, her husband has descended down the stairs with worry as he hears his wife yelling. "Ella is in trouble. She-She-she. That monster is hurting her."

He calls the police on his cellphone and updates them on the situation at hand.

Ella's mom screams harder when she hears her daughters screams stop abruptly. She listens carefully, waiting for what will happen next. Her husband alerts her that police are on their way to track the call and that she needs to do her best to keep their daughter's kidnapper on the line.

Ella's mom cries as the phone cuts out after the sounds of a struggle between Ella and Shawna.
