Australia was really sunny. I see my grandmother sitting down. She sees me and smiles.

"Oh my goodness, you've gotten so big since the last time I saw you" she said hugging me until I was almost out of breath.

"You haven't seen us since I was twelve. So of course I'm gonna grow some" I laughed while walking to my grandmother's really expensive looking car.

"It's nice to finally see you after six years. What have I missed?" She starts the car and pulls out of the parking lot into on coming traffic.

"Not much besides my graduation and Mason being born."

"I know... your mother sent pictures of him. He is adorable. Your mother said she was going on a business trip.. who is watching Mason?"

"Dylan."

"I thought he moved out."

I laugh. "He was going to but he claimed he was gonna miss us to much. But we all knew he was just gonna miss our cooking and Mason." We pull up to a nice house, which I guess was grandma's. "Woah. That's a big house."

She chuckles. "Not really hun. But I think you'll like my house more than you will your own. I have a swimming pool and a tree house in the backyard. All three are quite large."

"I don't want to go home. You had me at swimming pool."

"Your mother and I knew you would be interested as soon as I said swimming pool. You have the whole second floor to yourself because it's guest rooms and your room. I think you'll quite like your bedroom. Well don't just stand here go unpack and look around. I'll be in the kitchen if you need me."

"Thanks grandma." I walk up the stairs to my new room and automatically fall in love with it. The walls are a gorgeous shade of purple, the covers on the bed are zebra print, the curtians match the walls. Then I see two doors. I open the one closest to the door... a huge walk-in closet. I open the other... a huge freaking bathroom. "Grandma.. I think I'm going to officially move in. I freaking love this house."

"We knew you would sweetheart. Now there are a few people coming over later because they like to help me out alot. They may or may not be staying for dinner. So finish unpacking and if you need to get all dolled up, go ahead. They'll be here in about an hour and a half."

I stiffled a laugh. Honestly who still says dolled up anymore? Old people. "Who are these people? Are they snobby? If they are I'm not even going to try to be friends with them."

"They are nice people. And their son is quite charming. He's about your age. I think you two will get along great."

~~Hour and a half later~~

Ding dong

"Hi Anne Marie. Hello Ashton. Please come in" my grandmother led four people into the living room where I was currently sitting. I stood and smiled. I honestly don't like meeting new people because it may not seem like it but I'm kinda shy.

"Hi I'm Lauren. You're pretty" the cute little girl said.

"Hi Lauren. Thank you. You are pretty too" I smiled. "Oh I'm Maddie by the way." I can't believe I just forgot to introduce myself. Such an idiot.

"I'm Henry. I like video games" the younger boy said.

"I do to. If it's okay with your mom, you could play my PS4 if you want." He looked at his mom with a cute little smile.

"If it's okay with Maddie it's fine with me" Anne Marie smiled and ruffled Henry's hair.

"Yay. Thanks mom" he grins excitedly and runs to the couch.

The boy about my age giggled. And I must say, it was quite adorable. "I think you just made a new best friend. I'm Ashton. Nice to finally meet you. You're grandmother talks about you all the time" he smiles showing the cutest dimples.

"Does she" I turn and give her the you have got to be kidding me face. She just winks and walks into the kitchen with Anne Marie.

Leaving me in the hallway, alone, with a boy I just met.....
