Chapter Five

"Rise and shine Maddie. Get up, we are going to have some real fun today" Calum shouts. When I don't respond he starts jumping on the bed.

"Cal. Leave me alone. I wanna sleep" I moan halfway into the pillow. He stops for a second.

"Mikey she won't get up." Next thing you know, there are loud footsteps then all four of them are laying on top of me.

"Five more minutes. That's all I'm asking for." They sigh but still don't move.

"Fine five more minutes." They still don't budge. I look at them.

Oh well. I can still sleep. Or so I thought. They start squirming and yelling when someone touches them.

"Screw it! Get off. And get out." They grin thinking they've won. They reluctantly leave the room. I close and lock the door then hop back into bed.

"Night guys" I tease and they groan. "Nice try though. Maybe you'll do better next time."

"Maddie hun. I made pancakes and bacon" gram yells. I throw the covers off and open the door almost hitting the guys.

"Guys move. I'm hungry." They shake their heads. I sigh. "What's going to make you move besides me going wherever you guys want me to go today?"

"A kiss" they say in unison. My jaw drops slightly.

"Really? That's what you want?" They nod. "Ok." I kiss them on the cheek and run past them.

"That's not what I meant" Mikey yells when they get into the kitchen.

I giggle. "Be more specific next time. And I don't mean do it again in the next five minutes."

They groan but agree. They sit and watch me eat. Then Mikey burst out "Can you please hurry?"

I grin and nod. Then I take slower bites. They groan so I get up and throw the rest of the food in the trash and put the plate in the sink. "If we're going, lets go." They jump up and run to the car.

"I call shotgun" Luke yells. He literally jumps into the seat.

I fake pout. "Meanie. I wanted the front seat." He laughs then looks at my pout and sighs. He gets out of the car and gets in the back with Cal and Mike. I laugh. "Thanks Luke. Such a gullible boy."

"You tricked me! Ugh! Fine. But I'm not falling for it next time." We set off to wherever we are going and after five minutes the boys in the back start arguing about somebody touching them.

"Ash pull over." He does as asked and I get out. I open the back door. "Michael and Luke get out."

Michael scoffs. "You don't tell us what to do."

"Oh really?" I cross my arms and cock my hip to the side. Luke gets nervous. Michael tenses only barely. "You have three seconds. Or I'm walking home."

"You wouldn't do it." He smirks.

"Really? I would. And if I did, I could get lost or kidnapped and rapped, then later killed. Do you want to try me, Michael?" I could see Ash shaking his head no out of the corner of my eye.

"You're to scared to do it. I know you are because you're a girl." I could see slight fear in his eyes. He didn't fully doubt I would do it. So I start to walk.

I get three feet away when they get out of the car. "Fine Maddie" Michael shouts. I turn and grin.

"Don't ever say I won't do something. Now, Luke front seat." He does it like he was scared of me or what I would do. I climb in the middle beside Cal. "Michael in now!" He sits down with a huff and slams the door.

I sigh and glance back over at him. "Michael." He doesn't look at me. "Mikey, I'm sorry I snapped at you. And you to Luke. All the arguing reminded me of back home. I couldn't stand it. But I'm sorry."

Luke smiles and gives a nod. Michael still does nothing. "Mikey-poo." The edge of his mouth slightly twitches as if he's trying not to smile. "Please don't be mad at me forever." Nothing. "Fine." I sigh and focus on my phone for the rest of the car ride.

Ashton laughs. "I knew you'd get along." Michael glares at him. I smile.

"Maybe some day soon. Just not yet."
