It's been four years since August and Britney had gotten married. AJ is now 10 and so is Sky . Shay and Eric now have a secret that will reveal later in the chapter. Let's see how there holding up.

BRITTANY POV

" AJ breakfast is ready" August screamed out to AJ as I made the plates.

" Good morning" AJ said when he came down stairs with his face buried in his phone.

"Good morning son" August said

" good morning breakfast is on the table"

" Thanks ma" AJ said , never picking his head up from his phone . it's like this every morning and every day. He's always in his phone just texting away .

I snatched his phone from him and he looked up quick.

"Mom why you do that?"

"Your always in your phone , so what 10 makes you grown so you forget about yo mama?"

August shook his head and AJ laughed while walking over to me
He hugged me and put his head in the crook of my neck while saying

" Id never forget you ma your just jealous"

"jealous ? No I'm concerned because my 10 year old son is always texting some girl that I know nothing about "

" You do" he mumbled I couldn't hear him tho

"What was that son?" August said with a smirk on his face as if he knew something I didn't AJ kicked August feet under the table and said " Nothing"

"what was that-" I was interrupted by the school bus beeping it's horn for AJ. AJ ran out the door so quick like lightning. "Bye mom bye daddy love y'all " He was gone in a flash.

I shifted in my seat towards August who apparently knew more than I about this girl our son had been texting. I cleared my throat because he was purposely ignoring me acting like he reading the back of the cereal box.

"something stuck in your throat?"

" Don't play round wit me who does AJ be texting?"

He just shrugged his shoulders .

"Yea ard then" I said grabbing my food off the tAble . I mushed him in the back of his head as I was leaving.

"Keep ya hands off me Brit"

"Promise I will " I said loudly from the kitchen.

I silently laughed to myself because I heard hi rushing to the kitchen so I'm guessing he caught my drift.

"Why you play so much "

"I'm dead serious "

"You can't resist me"

I laughed at him. he crazy if he thinks I can't resist him. He so cocky.

"Is that a challenge Mr. Alsina?"

"Very much so Ms. Alsina "

I turned around with my left hand out I front of me. He looked at me funny

"What's that for?" He asked

"it's a bet so shake on it "

"Oh yea your gonna loose so what I get if I win?" he asked scooting closer to me. Since he was so tall he looked down at me .

"whatever you want , but of I win I get whatever I want "

"Ion know about all that "
