Chapter 35

BRITTANY POV

Today just wasn't my day. Like I couldn't get myself together. August was out with Nancy doing leg exercises so he could gain his stability back in them.

According to her that was the least he could do since he went all the way to NewYork to pass out and not call her. She was real live seriously offended by that y'all. I ain't lying.

But today ? This just isn't for me.

I done had cramps all day , back hurting , back and forth to the bathroom , and a huge headache.

I wanted to clean up but I couldn't because the smell of bleach made my stomach turn. I couldn't clean for long because my back would erupt in pain. Honestly , the bed was the best place for me. So relaxing and comfortable and soft.

But I was so tired of being pregnant I didn't know what to do. Anyway I took my hard headed ass upstairs and laid down.

Just as I was about to let sleep over take me I guess what ?

My water broke.

Sike nah ,the door bell ring. So y'all can pick ya mouthes up off the ground. I laid down for like two more minutes thinking they'd just go away but that wasn't the case.

I swung my feet off the bed and lifted myself up using the pillows. Whoever it was , was going to get cussed out so bad. I'm going let them have it and at this point I don't care who it is.

AJ was in school so whoever would get it. Especially if it was August because he has a damn key.

I looked at the camera In the kitchen and seen a short Ass man with flowers and a huge box if chocolate in his hands. I walked to the front door and swung it open.

" Wrong house " I said and slammed the door before he spoke. I know rude. But like I said ,today isn't my day.

I walked away from the door and in a matter of seconds it rung again. I stooped back to the door ready to cuss this man out but he spoke first

" Ma'am you husband August Alisna asked me to send you these and to be ready at 8 " he said as if he was scared. Damn my bad sir.

" Sir I'm so sorry for how I acted about a minute ago " I said feeling bad now.

" It's no problem. Ma'am my wife is pregnant with twins so I understand. Trust me " he said

" Congrats. I wish you well " I said sincerely. He smiled and took off his hat " as do you " he said like the perfect gentleman.

I closed my door and smelled the flowers. They smelled so good it brought a smile to my face. I couldn't wait to eat the chocolate my mouth was watering. Let's just hope I could keep it down.

I called August just to thank him and see where we were going at for lunch.

August picked up and I heard a bunch of music in the background.

" Turn that down " I heard August say. That confused me I thought he was with Nancy. His ass better not be at the studio working already.

Brit: yo ass better not be in the studio

Aug: nah. Nancy and I still practicing were just using music as motivation

Brit: Oh thanks for the flowers and candy. I appreciate it

Aug: it's nothing ma just make sure you ready at 8

Brit : where we going ?

Irrrrrrrrrrnt. I looked at the phone. No this nigga didn't just hang up on me. Oh hell no. I wanted to call her and wild her out but the feeling in my stomach dragged me to my knees. It felt so strong. I regained my composure after about 5 minutes it shimmered down.
