~Louis~
I woke up to the unpleasant sound of my alarm which constantly just beeps until I get up to turn it off. I groaned. I'm not a morning person at all but, I need to wake up early because of my job. I don't work everyday, only when I get calls from people wanting me to paint their house inside, or outside. I usually paint houses for the rich folks.
I got up and searched for my phone which gets lost every once in a while because I put it under my pillow, and I move like a fucking exorcist in my sleep.
I found my phone under my bed. As soon as my hands were on it, I turned the alarm off. I checked the time, which was 8:45 a.m.
Why did I wake up early? This is way to early and I don't have anyone's house to paint today as far as I know. It's Sunday!
Dammit Louis.
I was about to jump on my bed to go back to sleep but, I decided I should go out.
I walked out of my small bedroom with just boxers and socks on and made my way to the kitchen.
I put some some pizza leftovers in the microwave from last night, and grabbed a can of Coca-Cola. The microwave beeped indicating that the pizza was now warm.
I ate my "breakfast" and then I took a shower. It was now 9:37 a.m.
I changed into some black skinny jeans and a white t-shirt, and white vans. For some reason, I liked the way plain colored shirts looked on me. Maybe it's my tattoos. Im sure it is. I made sure my long hair was fine and I was ready. I wasn't sure what I was ready for, honestly. I decided to change that and I called my closest friend, Noah. He picked up after a few rings.
"Hey," he said with a sleepy voice.
"Hey. Do you have any plans for today? We can go out and do something fun," I said.
"Why don't we go to a party? There is going to be a party at the frat house here on Campus! Everyone would love it if you come!", He said sounding not as tired as he was just a few seconds ago.
Noah goes to college. I wasn't able to because of money. My family isn't poor, but we just couldn't afford it. Unfortunately, I didn't get a scholarship, which sucks. Noah did. If he would've not have gotten a scholarship, he probably wouldn't even be in college right now. He was just a lot smarter and got a scholarship. So, I followed in my fathers footsteps and made my own house-painting business. My dad has his own business. I used to help him with his when I was a teenager but now that I am an adult, I needed my own to make my own money. But Noah helps me when he has time which is usually after he has classes, usually everyday. Of course he gets money as well. He's always supported me. We've been friends for a while now, since I more here from Doncaster which was my Junior year of Highschool.
"Yeah sure. What time?"
"8 o'clock. We can hang before the party if you'd like," he suggested.
"Yeah! Do you want me to go to your dorm?"
"Sure."
"I will be there in twenty, okay?"
"Okay," he said and hung up.
I left my small apartment and walked out to the parking lot. I looked at my work truck and then to my blue Toyota corolla. I decided to use my Toyota.
Since I didn't get to go to college, my parents gave me this as a gift. I've had it since last year. My parents gave it to me last year and not right away when I graduated so that I would get a nice car. It isn't the best, but I was satisfied.
I drove to campus and there were people outside walking, hanging out, and by hanging out, I mean sitting by one another on their phones.
I parked and when I got out, I made my way to Noah's dorm.
