~Louis~

I woke up and it was 10:23 a.m. I realized I had to be at that one house by noon. I had to leave earlier since it isn't really close to where I lived either.

Shit.

I left the party like at three in the morning and I never put an alarm. I rushed out of bed and ran to the bathroom. Well, I really didn't run.

I took a quick shower and put on my clothes which was black vans, black t-shirt, and some light washed skinny jeans. This is how I dress up for work. My dad used these really big work boots but I couldn't wear those. I have a pair but I only wear them every once in a while. Vans are much more comfortable. I use my old vans for work which get covered in paint sometimes.

I put a beanie on to keep my hair away from my face.

I ate some cereal for breakfast. I'm not a very good cook so I really don't cook myself some food. The only things I can make are pancakes, bacon, and eggs.

It was now 11:05 and I left.

Hopefully there wasn't any traffic.

I arrived at the house and damn, it was huge. I've been in this neighborhood before but this has to be the biggest house. All the houses here had to be at least a million dollars!

I sent Noah the address of the house. I guess I can call it a mansion.

I parked my truck and I walked towards the entrance. I rung the doorbell and a man opened the door.

"Hello. Im Louis Tomlinson. I am The Painter," I said sticking my hand out for him to shake. He shook it and smiled.

"I'm Alfonso Fuentes. I was the person who called you. You came just in time! I thought you were going to be late!"

"I was almost late actually," I laughed.

"I can tell. Did you not sleep right? You have deep rings under your eyes." I hadn't even thought about that.

"Yeah. I was out last night," I said. He seemed unpleased.

"Well, let me show you where I would like for you to paint." I nodded and followed him. He led me to a room which I guess was his bedroom.

"Beige. I think that is the color I would like for this room. All bedrooms must be beige except for two. One will be lavender and the other a light blue. Are you taking notes?"

"Yes sir." I was typing this down in my notes on my phone.

"Let's go outside," he said. I followed him outside. They had a huge pool and a large amount of plain land.

He led me to a shed on the side of the house.

"I want this shed to be a gray color." I nodded typing that onto my notes.

"I am helping you by giving you this. Its a map of the house and you can see each room and each room says the color it has to be."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome. How long do you think this will take you?"

"About two weeks. Im not going to be painting 24/7. The house will smell like paint so much. Yeah, two weeks is enough."

"I guess I will pay you $650 per week, with a total of $1,300. Is that enough?" That was enough.

"Yes. Someone will be helping me as well. He couldn't make it here right now because he is in college."

"I will talk to him about the payment personally. Thank you for telling me."

"When can I start?"
