I wake up, panting in my bed and sweating like crazy. I look around my room, seeing my bed is not yet a 'real bed' and I inhale and exhale slowly. I think back to what had just happened. Or has it? I close my eyes and fall backwards, my head landing on my pillow. I groan and sit back up. School Today. I think to myself before sighing loudly. I get up and get dressed. A blue T-shirt with black leggings, and my converse. I walk downstairs quietly, and see my Aunt Pam and my dad sitting on the couch, watching the TV. I open the pantry and grab a granola bar, (Aunt Pam and Dad are not so good at cooking) and I open the door. I groan as I go back inside the house. I forgot my backpack. I murmur to myself, before slinging the bag over my shoulder. Every few steps I adjusted the straps on my backpack. I headed towards the bust stop, and I saw the STOP sign in red around all the streets. I'm not so happy when the bus comes driving in, and stops right beside my house. I sigh as he opens the door, my shoes squeaking, as I take each stair step onto the bus.
———1:15———I head into Math class, seeing a unusual teacher. He has a black vest with a white shirt, a red tie, and black pants as well. He has in big letters on the white board, Mr. Williams Mathematics Class underneath that it had said, Kickball At Math. Allyssa Hollister, the most popular, and prettiest girl in the school, also know as, The Gossip Queen looks at the board and gasps. "This is totally not fair!" Allyssa calls out. "It's Math, not Kickball!" She yells at Mr. Williams. She flips through her math book and taps on page 127. "This is the lesson we are working on!" She yells once more, before flipping her hair behind her shoulder angrily. Lily Longfield, Noah Longfield twin sister looks at the popular group and the, "The Gossip Queen." "Yeah. She kind of is right. I mean, it is Math." Lily calls out as well. Allyssa looks at Lily and smiles, flipping her hair back again. I mean, I'm no pro at sports, man I'm not even athletic, but all I know is you have to obey the teachers rules. The popular group, (Allyssa, Lily, and others) start agreeing with Lily and Allyssa and start throwing a little tantrum party. Mr. William gives the popular's a death stare and he grabs a ball from behind his desk. "Come on, everyone. Let's play some Kickball." Mr. Williams says. Allyssa groans as she slams her book closed and stands up, walking outside. Mr. Williams assigns our positions. I'm outerfield, and so is Lily. I see her rushing out into the field/grass area and she looks at me, smiles and waves. "Hey, I'm Lily." Lily says smiling again. Yeah. Everyone know that. I say quietly as she looks over at me. "Oh, Hey. I'm Nicole." I say, holding out my hand. She shakes it promptly and smiles again. What's up with her and smiling? "So, I'm guessing your in the outerfield for the same reason I am?" Lily asks me, looking at the ball. "Huh? What do you mean?" I ask her, very confused. "Like, I'm not very athletic. That's why I am out here." Lily says. Hmm. We may have some things in common. I nod at her as she smiles again. Jeez. Can you ever stop smiling? Me and Lily chat for a little, and even though she is Noah's twin sister, she isn't such a snob like him. "I'm actually pretty scared of the ball." Lily says to me, "Once, I was playing kickball with Noah, my brother." Lily says, pausing before saying the rest of her sentence. I'm pretty sure everyone knows The Noah Longfield. I think to myself. "Well, anyways, the ball came right at me and it broke my nose." Lily says, giggling a little. I try to picture Lily at the hospital, groaning in pain. I chuckle at the thought as she pushes her brunette hair behind her ears. We finally stop talking once the ball comes flying right towards our way. Lily panicks as she runs around the field where she is supposed to stay. I laugh a little as the ball comes right towards her. Lily doges out of the way and the ball hits the ground and bounces up. Everyone screams and yells at us for not catching the ball, so Mr. Williams calls us all in fir our next class. The boys in our class grab the ball, and hand it to Mr. Williams. I walk inside, as Lily waves and smiles as she walks past me to her "Popular Group." Lily starts talking to them as they laugh and snicker. All I hear is, "Nicole, Talked, Nice, Shy, and Interesting." I smile at the thought of me being any of those. The bell rings and Lily departs from her group and comes over to me. Ya, she comes over to me. We chat a little before we also depart and we both go to our separate classes. Maybe Lily isn't such and arrogant jerk like her brother, Noah Longfield. I think to myself as I walk into my next class, Art.
