Newt did not want to you to be a runner. He didn't want you to become one because he wanted you safe. Now he doesn't want you to be one because of how much time you spend with the keeper of the runners, Minho.
Everyday you two come back laughing, and smiling, and Newt doesn't like it. He has liked you for the longest time, and he can't believe that you suddenly like Minho.
"Hey Y/N?" Newt called as you got back from the maze.
"Yeah?"
"Can you meet me in the homestead when you're done in the map room?" He asked.
"Sure."

You walked into the homestead thirty minutes later and Newt was already there, waiting.
"What's up Newt?"
"Do you like Minho?" He came out and asked.
"What?"
"You heard me."
"No, Newt I don't. Why? Do you like Minho?" You asked, a smirk on your face.

"Okay, maybe I'm just in love with you and hate that you're spending so much time with another guy who isn't me! There I said it." You smiled lightly and went and put your arms around Newt's neck. You closed the distance between you two.
You broke away and saw the smile on Newt's face.
