Today was the day that a new Greenie was coming up. Everyone was gathered around the box as soon as they heard the alarm. When the box finally reached the top, Newt and Gally jumped down and helped the Greenie up.
He was about sixteen with blonde hair. He was shocked when he saw you, the only girl in the glade. Everyone reacts like that when they see you.
"What the bloody hell is this?" You heard your boyfriend, Newt ask.
"What is what?" You asked.
"This." He replied, handing you some sort of box. You opened it and a disc poped out. "Do you know what it is Y/N?"
"No, I have no clue. I'll figure it out though."
You walked away to the homestead to study the device. It had buttons and a slot where the disc goes into. You slid the disc back in and started pressing buttons. You pressed one that looked like a triangle and music started playing.
"Yes!" You shouted to no one. You started dancing around the homestead, smiling like crazy. You couldn't wait to play this at the bonfire.

It was finally night which meant bonfire time. You brought out the small box and pressed the play button. The music started and the Gladers stopped to look at you.
"The disc plays music!" You told them. Some of the Gladers got up and started dancing to the rhythm of the song.

You walked over to Newt and put your hand out to help him up. When he took it, you pulled him to you.
"Dance with me." You said, while the song kept playing.
"Fine."
You grabbed his hands and placed them on your hips. You put your arms around his neck. The song was fast paced, but you didn't care. You two started swaying and slow dancing.

You two were pulled away from each other by Minho. He grabbed you and started spinning you around.
"Minho!" You shouted, laughing. He put you down and you went back to dancing with Newt. He pulled you two him and placed a kiss on your lips.
"I love you." You said.
"I love you too, you little genius. I'm so glad you figured that thing out. I don't think I've seen the boys smile this much."
"Same here. I'm glad there's actually someone smart in the Glade." You said playfully.
"Oh whatever!" Newt exclaimed.
"I was probably some super smart scientist before I was put here."
"At seventeen?"
"Are you doubting my smartness, Newt?"
"Not at all, love. Not at all."
