This is a based on true events story of a girl who finds love at a young age and watched the journey of the friendship change throughout the years, longing for happiness and to be free from the prison she felt she was bound to.

It did stop and she was finally able to try to be happy and she graduated but she was sad because of her moving so much she had no friends in her graduating class and the friends she had at the graduate school was graduating the following year. She was dropped off home and left alone as the rest of her family left with other family members. She looked in the mirror with her in the graduating gown and just hated how the last safeplace she had was gone for good. She wanted a scholarship to a collage but the school lost some of her records from her previous schools, she was upset because of her years being on the honor roll she was hoping would pay off and help her be free. Her family moved again not too long after graduating as well so that also didn't help her too much. She started looking for jobs which she quickly found one at a grocery store walking distance from her home. She would still talk to Kyle every other day and on her days off her favorite Uncle Kel would visit and cheer her up and take her on walks. One day he noticed her mom was overdoing it on her and decided to take her for the weekend and they went to the casino to eat at the buffet and talk and laugh and then when they got to his place, they would play games seeing who was the fastest at finding the matching jewels.
It started to rain and Uncle Kel took Amythest to the kitchen and played some Whitney Houston songs and danced with her to it as she softly hummed to the lyrics. He smiles saying he wanted to hear her sing a song and she looks down unsure to even sing but agrees to. She said she would sing the next song that she knew which turned out to be the very next song. As soon as she heard it she smiles and closes her eyes putting her hands to her heart. Amythest loved Whitney Houston and the song that she got to sing was The Greatest Love Of All. When she finishes she opens her eyes to her Uncle Kel smiling and clapping and hugs her saying she had such a beautiful voice. Uncle Kel was her favorite uncle because he was understanding, kind, gentle, and loving and saw me when she felt nobody else could nor wanted to. After the days off with him she ended up going to work and goes home to see a coworker who turns out to be her dads friend he use to talk to alot and she was unsure at first until he saw that he was trying to help her voice get better. She was grateful for the help and one day when her mom was at work, her brother was downstairs playing loud music, and her dad was leaving to go get her mom and his friend was leaving the same time.
She closed the door behind her locking it as they left and as she goes to her room to play music she hears knocking on the front door. Amythest looks through the peephole to see it was her dads friend and he says he forgot something and was wondering if he could grab it real quick. Amythest lets him inside to grab what he needs in the living room while she walked to her room to turn down the music he follows shutting the door behind him tossing her on the bed face down pulling her favorite pair of jeans down and forced his way into her. She struggled and shouted but he covered her mouth and she struggles for a little then just stopped and laid there taking it just waiting for it to end. He quickly finishes and sprays it all over her jeans then walks out the room. She waited till he was near the door then left the room to shut the front door and lock it and threw her clothes off taking a shower scrubbing herself rough trying hard to not to go back to her old ways while looking at the scars on her arm. Amythest leaves the shower wiping her face from the tears and changes her clothes and goes downstairs sitting watching her brother play in silent. Later that night Kyle texted her and asked her how she was doing and she explained what happened and quickly he calls asking her if she was alright and if she told someone, Amythest tells him that she know they wouldn't believe so she didn't want to bother. Kyle sighed in defeat but made her promise if it happened again that she will have no choice but to tell or they would have to stop talking. He knew Amythest treasured their friendship so he knew what she would choose and she sighed agreeing.
The next few days went back to normal and everything was fine. She was slowing getting better again until her dad's friend returns and this time her dad leaves with him still there and this time it was only him and her. Amythest runs to her room the minute her dad leaves trying to lock her door but the guy opens it and throws her on the bed climbing on top of her and kissing all over her. He lifts up her dress yanking her panties while holding her hands and once again had his way with her until he was finished and leaves but this time he finished inside of her instead of on the outfit. Amythest stayed in her room shaking and holding Emily her bunny. Kyle texted to see what was going on when he found out he of course called and told her to tell her family and now, by this time her father was in the room and her mom was in the living room watching tv. She said she'd call him back and walked in the living room full of fear and not wanting to talk about something that made her so uncomfortable. She sits across from her mom who was watching one of her favorite shows. She asked her mom if they could talk on commercials and she said that they could.
Amythest was hoping it would take a minute for commercials so it would give her time to gather courage but within a minute a commercial was on and her mom turns the tv down asking her what was wrong. Amythest was hesitated at first unsure to tell but finally got the words out and her mom called her dad in the room and told him everything who was upset. Turns out his friend had been to jail before for raping a minor. She was so happy that they believed her and felt such a wave of relief that just overcame her. A couple days later Amythest brother decided to tell everyone how it was a lie and that she probably wanted to get raped so bad. The family quickly took his side since he said he was home and he didn't hear anything. She couldn't believe her ears and told them that the only reason I told them was out a promise from a friend because that wasn't the first time it happened. They still didn't believe her and she ran to her room to text Kyle saying she needed him who quickly calls her and she explains what happened and he quickly apologizes saying she was right and shouldn't have told them.
