Amythest became more distant with her family and no longer hung out with her friends and her days with Kyle became limited because he had a girlfriend and was also very busy with the radio station. Amythest knew she felt different and as if there was another person, another heart in her. She constantly felt neusea and once calmed she took a test when nobody was around and it came out positive. She became scared and afraid, she didn't know what to do or how to do it. She was confused about alot of things but the one thing she knew was she wanted to be the mother of the baby. She would enjoy the late night snacks with the baby and would talk to it and sing softly to it. She wondered what kind of mother she would be and if she would be a good mom? She knew though she wanted to be a loving mom for her child to know she loved it and it would always be loved by her. One day her brother who was already a bit buzzed and high was playing the television loud and asked him kindly to turn it down so it wouldn't disturb the neighbors, however he didn't care about that nor care what she had to say. She asked again but this time a little louder and when he wasn't listening she grabs the remote to turn it down and he immediately gets up and punches her in the stomach and as she winces trying to fight back he punches her mouth hard causing her to bleed and she pushes him away as he tries to apologize seeing finally what he did but she locks herself in her room.

Amythest quickly noticed she felt different and ran to the restroom noticing she was bleeding heavy and started shaking and crying. Amythest walks back to her room locks the door and lays down barely able to open her mouth because of how hard her brother punched her. Amythest was so frustrated and broken and she knew she had nobody to reach out to and just silently cried until she fell asleep. Amythest was always born with a gift to see spirits and because of that gift her little girl was able to see her and say goodbye. Her parents finally realized what happened and had to take her to the dentist but even after a whole month of surgery they couldn't do much to fix it but only to make it to where she was able to eat again even though it would still hurt a bit. Not too long after getting off from work late she comes home to find out that her favorite Uncle Kel had passed away. Amythest told herself that she was ok as long as she didn't hear his name she was going to be alright and she was even during the funeral she put on her brave face wanting to wake up from this nightmare. However this was a nightmare that she couldn't get rid of and for her this was only starting. She loved his funeral it was like a true celebration of life full of love and happiness and when she walked out the church to see a rainbow she knew he was alright and crossed over. She wanted to go to the the final goodbyes before cremation but her dad had other plans with his girls and needed to leave and take her back home.

Dropping her off and she goes downstairs to play some games to get her mind off of life she was doing well holding herself up till her cousin Tia asked how it was at his funeral and if she was going to miss him at all and Amythest asked her to please leave and once she did Amythest broke down in tears crying non stop for her Uncle who she never got to say goodbye to. A couple days later she finds out that her Uncle Will isn't doing too well and her Aunt Wanda needed help taking care of him. Her Uncle Will though had rough patches he was always like a father to her since he taught her to fish when she was younger. She gladly accepted her Aunt Wanda's offer and helped him and she would help not only with her Uncle but also around the house with cleaning, cooking, laundry, anything that her Aunt needed help with she gladly lended a helping hand. She spent weekdays taking care of her Uncle Will and helping her Aunt Wanada when she could and went home on weekends to spend time with her family and to grab some more clothes. She slowly noticed her Uncle was getting weaker and weaker to the point he could barely get out of bed anymore nor could feed himself. She saw the person who was always so strong and independent and was happy to be his strength when he needed it most. One day her Aunt Wanda played some Earth, Wind, and Fire and wanted to have fun with everyone. When her Uncles favorite song came on for the first time he stood up smiling and asked to dance with Amythest who gladly took his hand and danced with him until the very end of the song.

He joked saying she had no butt which caused her and her Aunt Wanda to laugh. Amythest helps her Uncle sit back down on the couch and they all ate dinner together while watching movies they all enjoyed. One day when the weekend came and she went home to change and grab some clothes her Aunt called her mom to let her know that her Uncle had passed away and that they was taking his body now. Her mom lets her know and tells her to stay home while her mom left to go to her Aunt Wanda's to comfort her. Amythest didn't know what to do or how to feel especially after losing Uncle Kel a few couple ago. Her Uncle Will served in the army and went to the same church she was deeply involved in. On the day of his funeral she prepared everything before the others arrived and saw and said goodbye to her Uncle before anybody came. Once Everyone was there she was told to be strong for her family because they needed her, so she put on a brave face and sat with her family. Trying to keep herself together hearing her Aunt Wanda crying while she stared at her Uncles body. Feeling the knots in her throat but keeping it all together as her mom comforts her Aunt. After the funeral Amythest waits till everyone was sleeping and softly cries while gazing at the moon. Her heart was hurting as her world was crumbling and the friend she longed to hear from was nowhere to be found.

After a month her Aunt Wanda fell ill again and asked if Amythest could come help her and once again she happily accepted. Her and her Aunt would talk about Will and their favorite memories with him. Wanda missed him so much and Amythest could tell how much her heart broke having him gone while she still was here. They was together for a very long time and been through alot together. Like her Uncle Will her Aunt Wanda slowly began losing her strength and could barely walk anymore but this time she wasn't allowed to stay as much as she wanted because her mom felt she was away from home too much. Her Aunt Wanda has her friends come take care of her when Amythest couldn't be there and Amythest would check in on her alot to make sure she was alright. Her Aunt often told her how much she deeply loved her and how she was her favorite niece regardless of how the others treated her and loved her kind heart. Amythest didn't like leaving her Aunt with others because she didn't trust them at all. She was right not to trust them because within a year a couple days before Christmas her Aunt Wanda passed away and the friends who took care of her said it was natural death but quickly found out that her Aunt Wanda was gasping for air and instead of helping her they shut the door on her and let her die so they could have her house. Amythest broke down and just couldn't take anymore.
