Amythest was sad but not for long with her son Aiden always by her side and she was very thankful for him because he was her light and her safe place. Her son and her would plan to do things together and she enjoyed watching him play especially scary games. One day her son decided it was time for her to meet Scotts girlfriend who was actually his best friend. Amythest was unsure and wasn't sure if it was alright to meet her and was unsure how his girlfriend would even feel about her. Aiden told her not to worry and quickly made a group chat and finally met Hyute. She was very shy and so adorable and if Amythest could she would hug her all day long because of how cute she was. Hyute and Amythest started talking and as the days went by they never realized when they made it official but they both fell in love with eachother and saying how much they loved eachother. Amythest was scared she was falling for her because she didn't want to take him from Scott at all but her son said that the love those two had is buried and gone.
Amythest agrees to finally give in to her feelings and give love one more chance hoping that it would work out this time. Hyute was sweeter than honey to her and like a breath of fresh air giving her a new start that she desperately needed but she always had that fear that something was going to go wrong and happen. She was eventually right because Scott ends up contacting her saying how he misses Hyute and needs her back in his life and that he couldn't eat or sleep without her. He made Amythest feel horrible for taking someone he loved away. Amythest didn't want to be that person to tear lovers apart and said that she would back away but he had to gain her love back on his own. Her son quickly noticed the changes and go onto her account and wanted answers which she explained and he told her not to do that and to stop feeding into the lies he's giving because the relationship they had was never good. She felt bad that their relationship was horrible but even worse that she was willing to give up someone she loved for someone elses happiness. Things slowly went back to normal but not fully because there was still the guilt that hanged over Amythest head. They decided to change things up and lighten the mood by setting a day when she planned to visit in the fall that they would take her on her first camping trip and she was so excited and couldn't wait.
Once again though something got in the way, her job she had that she told them about the trip before she was hired denied her the days off saying she was being unfair the others. Telling her son and his fiance and also her girlfriend that it had to be cancelled, her son was a bit upset which she understood since this wasn't the first time the trip was cancelled. They was all looking forward to the trip and desperately needed it from the crappy year they had and for it to be taken all because of a job who choose to not listen. Amythest felt guilty and slowly began to fall again. Her phone rang and it was Kyle and he said that he was in her state and wanted to meet her and wanted to know if she was free. She was confused but she knew she desperately needed a friend and agreed to meet the following day. Her brother agrees to take her however quickly makes plans with his friends instead and promises to take her the next day. When the next day comes she buys the drinks she plans to share with Kyle and her brother for them to catch up however her brother again hangs out with his friends and goes to the movies with them. He feels bad and tells her that if he can't tomorrow that she could take the car and go see him herself. So when the next day comes once again her brother was hanging out with friends in the living room drinking the drinks she bought for Kyle and her brother to share when seeing Kyle.
Her brother did give her the car keys to let her go see him however when she says she was on the way Kyle asked if her brother was coming and she said no he was hanging with friends. Kyle quickly replied that it was best to not come being that he had a wife now and didn't want to give her the wrong idea. Amythest understood but her feelings she had for Kyle was long gone and she just wanted a friend because she had alot going on at the moment and also that would have been her first time seeing Kyle and she wanted a good clousure and to wish him happiness. She tells him she understands and maybe next time but he replies maybe not and leaves it at that. That was the last straw for Amythest and she had a mental breakdown and panic attack.
