Where is He?

Piper was out of her mind with worry. It wasn't like Jason to not text or call her for over 24 hours. It wasn't like him to go silent. She had desperately tried to call him, but had gotten no response. She felt like her worry was building up in pressure; soon it would crush her with its weight.
Piper started calling all her friends. She called Rachel, who told her that she had last seen Jason a week ago at her art studio. Grover told her Jason had not stopped by his restaurant for enchiladas the night he left. Hazel told her that she hadn't seen or heard of him since he bought an engagement ring a week ago.
Percy told her that Jason hadn't talked to him since three nights ago. Leo told her that Jason had gotten the car's oil changed a week ago. Nico said Jason had not visited the funeral home recently, but that was understandable. Reyna told her that she hadn't seen Jason since he told her farewell for her latest deployment into Iraq. Frank told her that Jason hadn't visited the archery club for two weeks. Will told her that Jason had not visited the doctor since his annual check up six months ago.
Piper called Annabeth. If there was anyone who could help her now, it was her. Jason's mother, Beryl, had died of cirrhosis years ago and his father, Jupiter, had not picked up the phone. "Hi," Annabeth said. "What's going on?"
    "Jason is missing," Piper said.
Annabeth was silent for a few moments. Piper could hear a television playing in the background. "Piper," she said urgently. "Turn on the television. Now!"
Piper grabbed her remote and turned it on. "Flip to Aeolus news," Annabeth told her.
Piper complied. She dropped the remote. There was Jason on television. He was dressed in clean slacks and a t-shirt. He never wore t-shirts on business trips.
He looked confused and his eyes were dazed, as if he was a young lamb unaware that he was being taken to the slaughterhouse. Seeing him like that made Piper's heart squeeze. "I have no idea who I am," Jason said.
Piper's hands flew to her mouth and her eyes became wet with hot tears that trickled down her face. "I'm sorry, Piper," Annabeth said. "I think Jason has amnesia."
She hung up. Piper watched the television, hoping to glean any information about Jason's whereabouts. Aeolus was now questioning him on his life. Jason kept answering that he knew nothing or had no idea or recollection. "I don't even know my own name," he said.
"Well, you heard it here first," Aeolus said. "A young man with no memories, lost in a busy world around him. If you know him please call us at 1-800-Aeolus. Again, please call at 1-800-Aeolus. Thank you."
Piper shakily grabbed her phone again. She dialed in the number and the phone rang. "Hello," she said. "My name is Piper McLean and I know the man on television."
