Ares was busy. He was always busy as a police detective, but it was rare that his cases were on television. After he broke the news to Miss McClean, he contacted the local television station and told them of the news. "He was mugged?" Aeolus asked incredulously. "I need to you to come now. I need to interview you!"
Ares agreed. In fifteen minutes, he was over at the station and being interviewed. Nuggets had the camera set up and Aeolus quickly launched into the interview. "When and how did you discover that Jason Grace-the man who lost his memory-had been attacked?" he asked.
"At first," Ares said. "We didn't even think that Mr. Grace had been mugged, but we were hunting down a killer and decided to start checking traffic light footage. We then discovered that Mr. Grace had been attacked."
"Would you give s physical description of the attacker?" Aeolus asked.
"He was shorter than Mr. Grace," Ares answered. "He was scrawny with blonde hair. Unfortunately, his features were obscured; we could not make out his face."
"How do you intend to find the man?" Aeolus asked.
"We have almost no lead," Ares answered. "Our physical description could fit millions of Americans. So, we are searching for someone with a motive to harm Mr. Grace. Hopefully, this will be fruitful."
"And what do you intend to do with this man when he is caught?" Aeolus said.
"If It were up to me," Ares said. "He would  go to trial and be sentenced harshly when found guilty. Unfortunately, most criminals agree to plea bargains. The defendant-once caught-will likely plead guilty and get a light sentence."
"Even if Mr. Grace wishes a harsher punishment?" Aeolus asked.
"Plea bargains rarely take the victim's wishes into account," Ares said. "We can try to pressure the prosecutor, but they are the one who makes the call."
"Good evening America!" Aeolus cried. "Keep up with the riveting story of a man who lost his memory and the hunt for the one who caused such drama!"

Luke Castellan had just gotten out of jail a month ago. He was relishing his freedom. At 28, he felt like he was being born again.
Thinking about his criminal record made him angry. He knew that he should not have, but his anger and misery had led him down troubled path of crime. He had joined a gang run by a cruel man named Kronos. After he was overpowered in a police shoot-out, he pleaded guilty and accepted ten years in prison. He knew he was guilty and he also knew that being convicted at trial would have meant decades in prison.
Luke was trying to get back on his own two feet. He had gotten a job at Burger King and was barely paying his bills. He arrived home late. He had not gotten back into crime, despite how much he needed money. He didn't want to end up in jail once again.
Luke opened the door to his apartment. He was so tired after the 12 hour work day. "Hands up," a voice said.
Luke raised his hands in surrender. He felt himself be handcuffed and shoved into the back of the police car. As the car drove away, he wondered what he had done wrong.
