Chapter 27- Back where it all began

(Mirayuki's point of view)

We arrived late that night and went to sleep as soon as we got there. Sadly my father had already been asleep when we arrived but my four best friends were here. Yes that's right! Umi, Aki, and Shun were here! But the even bigger surprise was that Remi was here! Do you remember what I told you about her in Chapter 12? Well she was like a little sister to me and she was Anri's original owner! She final had gotten better!

But slowly i peeled my eyes open as the morning light seeped into my window. I noticed a tall shadow in the corner of my room. I looked to see Izana watching me with a smirk.

"Your really cute when your sleeping Mira. You look so innocent and sweet." He smirked at me as i jumped and tackled him.

"I am not take that back!" We both landed on the floor in a not so great position. I was straddling him with both hands next to his face, trapping his head. Our faces were a couple of centimeters apart. I felt my face heat up a bit and heard him chuckle beneath me.

"Your so cute when you blush."

Bum Bum... Bum Bum... BUM BUM...

My heart was beating so fast. Snippets of us together flashed threw my mind and that's when I finally figured out all of my feelings. He was only a brother to me, Obi he was...

Only a brother to me. Izana he was the one I loved and i couldn't help but slowly bend down and allow our lips to meet. My eyelids fluttered shut and his arms wrapped around my waist. He pulled me closer to him as we deepened the kiss. I could feel him smile as he kissed me, somehow I couldn't help but smile back.

The need for air was to great so we had to break away from the kiss. I was left panting as I slowly opened my eyes to see Izana's already open.

"Mira..."

"Izana?"

"I think, no I am in love with you Mira." My smile widened and I kissed him again with even more fire and passion. we both hummed in content as he held me. Ever so quietly I whispered in between our fierce make-out session.

"I love you to."

"DAD!" I yelled and jumped into his awaiting arms. Normally I wouldn't do this, if it had been under normal circumstances I would have just given him a small hug and greeted him a little more casually, but after all that had happened I was well passed normal. After all this time has passed and I've met so many wonderfully people. I felt something inside of me had changed, I was no longer that formal and stiff person I was when i first went on this journey. But now I can finally just be me, the real me.

I felt my sword in its usual place and a smile settled on my face as all of my old friends surrounded  me. We talked for hours catching up before me and my family went to talk back at our house.

"So I see you found Zen and Shirayuki? So do you approve of them Mira?" Father asked me with a smirk and a knowing look in his eyes. No one knew about mine and Izana's morning together but i guess i would have to come out eventually.

"I don't think I'm really in a position to tell them whether or not that they can be together. But I will support the both of them either way." I replied with a small smile.

"Why exactly do you feel your no longer in a position like that Mira?" Kiki asked and smirked at me as well. No scratch that everyone was smirking at me and Izana. No wait scratch that IZANA WAS SMIRKING AT ME TO!!!!

"Um... well...that's... because.. I... BECAUSE I'M IN LOVE WITH IZANA!" I stuttered and yelled before running out of the house. I heard Mitsuhide yell finally so I popped my head back in.

"Oh and Kiki and Mitsuhide are dating!"

With that I ran back out the door and laughed as I heard Mitsuhide and Kiki scream.

"MIRAYUKI I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!!!" More laughter followed as i went back to my old hunting grounds. Not to long ago I was hunting in these woods, not aware of what I would find when I went back home. A sigh passed my lips as I climbed a tree and looked out over the mountains. I sat in my small little tree house I had built with Shun, Aki, and Umi. We were only 13 but man did we have skills. I laughed at my old memories.

"Shun told me I would find you here." I didn't even have to look back to know who it was.

"Izana?"

"Yes Mira?"

"I love you."

"I love you to."

The final chapter is coming up everyone! The Epilogue is next and then I will begin something new. That is unless I have enough people who want a sequel? Tell me is it the end or just the beginning?
