The Girl with Golden Eyes

Chapter 15- Obi and Mirayuki!

(Mirayuki's point of view)

All of the beast attacked me at once. I tried my hardest to dodge their attacks but one of them bit my leg. I quickly stabbed the wolf in the foot and tried to run away from them.

"Little one! Take your dog and my horse and get to town! That way I won't have to worry about you!" I yelled to the girl and watched as she ran to Anri. Me and Anri's gaze held for a second before we nodded to each other.

Once she was out of sight I put my focus back on the wolves. There were so many of them, how were the guards going to handle this. I quickly killed two of the wolves before getting bit on the same leg as before. I held in my scream as a fell to the ground.

I swiped at the wolves and ended up killed another one of them. I scrambled to my feet and stab another one through the heart. Before I knew it one of them bit my arm, luckily it wasn't the one I held my sword with. I quickly slashed the wolf that bit me, killing it. I then stood before 4 more wolves. The one that I had stabbed in the foot had ran away. I noticed a small trail of blood leading into the water.

-Small time skip-

Finally I had killed all the wolves. The sun had finally set and the rain clouds moved in. Rain poured down on me and the wind fought against me as I climbed a sturdy tree. I laid down on a branch and quickly fell asleep.

(Izana's point of view)

A little girl ran into the town holding onto a puppy and Anri's reigns. She had a couple scratches and a bite mark on her arm, but nothing life threatening. Me and Obi quickly ran to the girl, wondering where Mira was and if the girl was alright.

"What happened?" Obi asked the girl with a hint  worry laced into his voice. I almost wanted to kill him, but I'm not sure why.

"I was attacked by wolves. Some lady came on this horse and told me to run. To take this horse and my dog and run back to town." She explained to us with tears running down her face.

I was ready to get on my horse and go save Mira but Obi stopped me.

"You should stay here and help this little girl find her parents and get cleaned up. It's to dangerous for you to go out there. I'll go get Mirayuki." Obi told me before he jumped on his horse and ran off into the woods.

"So your the first Prince of Clarines?" The little girl asked me with a questioning face.

(Obi's point of view)

I quickly ran through the forest. I knew I wouldn't have much time before an animal would attack me. Soon it became night time and rain began to pour down on me. I finally came to a clearing where I saw patches of blood and a pack of dead wolves.

I quickly looked around knowing that Mirayuki had been here. Since she was most likely injured, she couldn't have gotten far.

Finally my eyes fell on her beaten form. She was laying on a branch. Her wet clothes stuck to the tree as blood oozed out of her. I quickly rode over to the tree she was on and jumped off.

I climbed up the tree and scooped her up in my arms before jumping down. I gracefully landed on my feet and then jumped on my horse. I sat her in front of me, her back leaned up against my chest. I could feel a hint of a blush on my cheeks. Luckily she was out cold so know one would every know.

I then ran through the forest as rain poured down on us. Her blood sticking to me, and her clothes sticking to me as well. I moved her hair out her face as we ran. Knowing that once we got to the inn that she would need to clean her wounds. But I couldn't have been more proud of her.

Yes everyone I finally got an update up. Not to mention there was a bit of ObixMirayuki in this chapter.
Now I could be wrong but we could be witnessing the beginnings of love here.
