My head jolted up at the sound of my alarm clock.
"Shut up!!" I hissed as I plopped my face into my pillow. This method succeeded in blocking out light and sound but I couldn't breath. After about a minute of the roaster audio screaming at me, I lifted my head again a turned off the alarm off. I sat up and pushed myself out of bed. Something was under my foot as I stood up and this thing caused my to fall forwards with a thud.
"Hoshi, is everything alright?" I heard my mom call from the bottom of the stairs. I groaned, pushed myself up, and picked up what I slipped on. It was the FullMetal Alchemist manga I was reading last night. It was the final volume. I sighed and placed it on my nightstand and answered my mother.
"I'm fine, just slipped" Sighing, I opened my bedroom door and headed down for breakfast.
I watched as the sun slowly creeped through the sky.
"Fayth...where are you?" I whispered. Two years ago, my friend, Fayth Carter, just disappeared from everything. From photos, video, memories. I barley remember her. If I think about her, I see everything but a face. The same goes with Cyle Michaels, who went missing at the same time. Everything but a face. Fayth's "dad" has now been proclaimed as the town crazy. If I asked someone about Fayth, they'd say they never heard if her. Where is she and how did she just disappear?
"Hoshi!" my mom broke my train of thought. I looked at her and she slid me my eggs. I just played with them for a minutes than soon started to eat them.
When I finished, I walked up to my room to get ready for school.
After I put on jeans, a white t-shirt with a black sweatshirt over that, and a pair of snow boots on my feet, I threw on my winter coat and backpack started for school.
The freezing air bit at my skin as I walked, more like sliding, down the frozen road. The snow was a foot deep and glittered in the faint sunlight. Movement caught my eye and turned to see a boy about my age standing on the side of the road with nothing more than a white dress shirt, brown dress pants, and black leather shoes. His sleeves were rolled up to elbows, showing his pale skin.
"Hey, are you crazy? It's like fifteen bellow out" I exclaimed.
"I'm fine. I don't feel it" he sighed.
"I've people go to school with only a thin sweatshirt on to keep them warm but you're crazy"
"I don't care. I don't see snow often" he said as he looked up at me and smiled. He had golden blonde hair and golden-brown eyes.
Doesn't see snow often? It snows every year here...unless it's like that one winter a couple years ago... I thought before I realized his smile was gone and was staring at in surprise.
"Goodbye then" weirdo. I started back down the street until he started calling for me. Turning, I watched him run towards me.
"You can see me?" he said, panting.
"Yes, I can" I said while nodding. This guy has a lose screw somewhere.
"Now if you please, I have to get to school" I smiled, turned, and ran as fast as I could on ice and with a ten ton backpack on my back.
"Hey, wait!" the boy called.
"Leave me alone!" I yelled at him as I reached my school. I ran through the front doors. As I ran through the front, a girl with jet black hair caught my eye. She was hold the door as I breezed through. But she wasn't looking me, she was looking at the boy who was following me.
Nothing weird with that...right?
