His Abused Mate

Chapter 3

I just stood there frozen. I couldn't move I couldn't breath. I couldn't even blink but then Sara said "Mason she's our niece calm down. She's not a threat." Mason stopped growling and changed to a human form again. Sara handed him some shorts and then he walked up to me and said "Hey, how you doing I'm your Uncle Mason." When he said that I dropped my stuff and fainted.
     After a while I started to hear people say is she okay what's wrong with her, does she know about us? After awhile I got tires if listening to everyone and opened my eyes to see the lights were dimmed. When Sara saw I was she up she told everyone to leave. Then she asked "Skylar, do you know about werewolves?" "Your kidding right?" I asked hoping she was kidding. "No im not Skylar. Your dad didn't tell you about us, about you?" "He didn't tell me anything about anyone." I wasn't lying he didn't tell me much about my family. "Well Skylar you see were werewolves including yourself you just haven't shifted for some reason." "Shifted?" "Shifted is when you turn into a werewolf. Your supposed to shift when you turn 16 and then you find your mate." "Your mate?" I asked another question and I felt so stupid not knowing any of this or even if I do believe this. "Skylar your mate is like a soulmate, a person you love forever. You make your happy and when there upset you are the only one that can calm him down. Like earlier when Mason was growling at you, I calmed him down because I'm his mate." "Oh. So I have a mate and I have to turn into a wolf?" "Yeah" "Sara, does it hurt to shift?" "For your first time it does but the other times it doesn't." "Okay." Anything else you want to know Skylar?" I shook my head no and she showed me to a room that I'm staying in.
       I looked at the room I was in and it looked beautiful. Everything looked so nice and comfortable. Sara said that I could hang my stuff up and that they already have some clothes in there for me. I put all of my clothes in the closet and then layed in my bed. Just as I was falling asleep Sara told me I had school tommorow. I told her okay and she left so I could sleep.
       I was woken up by Sara calling my name. I got up and grabbed a pair of jeans and a hoodie and took a shower. When I got out I dried off and got dressed. I then decided to blow dry my hair and put it in a flower braid. I put on some chap stick but no actual makeup and headed downstairs. When I got downstairs I saw Sara and Mason kissing and I mentally threw up. I started walking to the door to get my shoes nut was stopped by Sara. "Skylar come eat. I have to tell you where your going for school." "Fine."
        Meanwhile at school "Skylar are you sure you don't want me to come in with you?" "I'm sure." I said back to her. "Okay just call me if you need anything." I shook my head showing her that I heard her and she left. I started to walk inside when I heard people start to mumble things like poor kid I heard she was abused, I heard she hasn't shifted yet and other things I'd rather not want to hear. After a while I found the office and I told them my name. They gave me my schedule and I started walking to my first class. My schedule was almost the same except where my free period used to be there is now werewolf history. I headed to my locker and closed it as I heard the warning bell. I quickly made it to calculus and just spaced out most of the time. When the bell rang I started walking to my  werewolf history class. When I got in a lot of students were already there and the only seat left was next to a really hot guy. I quickly walked to a seat and sat down. The guy next to me said "Hey, I'm Liam and you are?" I didn't want to answer but when I was about to the teacher said "Welcome class today we have a new student with us. Her name is Skylar Clark, please make her feel welcome." Everyone looked at me and smiled. I smiled back at them. It felt good to smile, because I haven't smiled for about 11 years. The teacher was explaining how the moon goddess made us and gave us each a part to play. There was an Alpha and Luna which are the leaders of the pack, there is a beta who is the second in command, and the delta who is the third in command. There are also pack warriors and in some packs there are omegas. Omegas are treated the worst but I learned in the Crystal Blood pack there isn't any omegas.
When school was over Sara picked me up and we went shopping. When we were there Sara asked me when my birthday was and I said it was today. She told me happy birthday but after she said that I felt an excruciating pain in my body. I felt like my bones were breaking and then I realized that they were.
