Chapter 8

Come on Skylar let's go for a run. I shifted into my wolf and started to run. After a while of running I ran back to the tree and was about to shift back when I heard a branch snap. I get into this weird stance and growl. I looked around only to be tackled by something. I sniffed the air and it smelled horrible. Rouges. Skylar you need to go warn the pack and get out of there now. As soon as Gray said that I turned on my heels and started to run. I felt something bite my hind leg and I let out a whine. I ran faster until I saw Liam's house. I lost the wolf for now so I shifted and limped the rest of the way to the door. I knocked on it and the Luna answered. "Hello! What can I do for you?" She said in a sweet voice. "Rouges" I told her out of breath. "Mark! Liam!" She yelled for them and they came quickly. "Yeah" they both said at the same time. "Rou-" she was about to tell them about the rouges but then dumb old me was standing in the door way, got tackled by a rouge. "Ahhh, you little mother fucker." I screamed as he bit my shoulder. Liam looked like he was in pain too but I didn't know why. I turned over and pushed the rouge off. He whimpered a little but then ran off. He didn't make it far because almost the whole pack was outside the house. I stood up but winced a little considering my leg still hurt. Liam rushed over to me and asked if I okay and I told him I was okay. Sara found me and took me home. When we walked inside I started feeling really dizzy. I made one step into the house than I fainted.
 
     "Mrs. Scott, Skylar has been unresponsive for almost a year. We don't expect her to wake up anytime soon or at all. So you could pul-"
"No! I will not give up on her. I just need someone to pull their self together. Just give it a few more months. Please."
"Okay, you have until May."
(The attack happened in May and now it is March. Skylar has been unresponsive for around 10 months).
I heard the door close and wondered, could I really have been in a coma for almost an entire year? I heard a deep voice in the room and I quickly recognized it to be Liam's.
"Took you long enough." I heard Sara laugh a little.
"At least I came. Could you give me a few minutes?" Liam asked her sounding a little sad.
I never heard her respond by then I felt Liam grab my hand. I knew it was Liam because I felt sparks when he touched me. Liam then started to talk to me.
"Skylar, I know you can hear me so I'm just going to tell you now before I get to scared to tell you when you wake. Skylar, I know you think your broken, but then I can put you back together. Skylar the last few months have been really hard. You know I really need you and I know you need me. Skylar, when you wake I want you to reject me. If you don't then I will know you have a place for me in your life. Skylar I love you so much that only if you knew. Please Skylar, wake the fuck up." When Liam finished that I could hear him sobbing. I tried so hard to open my eyes and when I finally opened them I was so glad the room was dim. I looked over at Liam and he said "Skyl-" but before he could finish I leaned over and kissed him. It took him by surprise so he wasn't kissing me so I got worried but then he started kissing me back. I missed him so much so I kissed him harder them before.
