Chapter 11:
I hadn't seen Harry since his unexpected escape.
I went to my room and started unpacking my suitcase, singing under my breath.
"Are you really my step-sister?", I heard someone say behind me. I jumped, and turned around to see Harry a few paces away. I was about to answer with a sarcastic comment when I looked into his eyes. He seemed deep in thoughts, and slowly got closer to me.
"I've heard so many things about you", he whispered, caressing my cheek with his palm.
My heart raced. I didn't know what he was talking about, but I could feel my face heat up. I couldn't look down, his eyes seemed to enchant me, getting closer to mine every second.
For a second, our lips touched. My heart flipped. His lips felt sweet and, yeah cliché, they just seemed to fit into mine.
I gasped and pulled away. He looked so calm, as if nothing had happened, and I felt a wave of anger against him.
"Dude".
We turned to the door hastily to see who had spoken. Taylor stood by the door, frowning at Harry. Harry seemed so pleased with himself, I couldn't stand it anymore, and I slapped him right across the face. I stood there shocked for a second, and ran out from the house.
When I got to the front door I stopped. I couldn't avoid him forever, and living in the same house as him wasn't going to help. I wanted to call Naomi and tell her everything, but I couldn't swallow my pride. You lost your only friend and slapped two guys in a week. Keep it up, Sophie" I scolded myself. I burrowed my head in my knees and desperately thought of a solution.
"Wanna take a drive with me, Sophie?"
