Chapter 9: ...Must Run

Chapter 9: 

Must run...

Ava and Luke speed down a hallway of the warehouse. Looking in any the room they ran across to find April. Knocking out any mutant thug that came up to them and tried to stop them. 

"Hey Tiger! Over here!"  Powerman called over to Ava as she was finishing beating up a thug, making him pass out on the floor at her feet. 

She ran over to see what Luke was trying to show her. 

It was April. She was tied to a chair to what looked to be an interrogating room. 

"We gotta get her out of there!"  White Tiger yelled and Powerman went over to the door. Tearing it off it's hinges and throwing the door away. 

"Miss Stars are you alright?" Tiger took off the cloth from around her mouth. 

"Yeah...I think I'll be fine..." April mumbled getting loose from the ropes as Tiger used her claws. 

"Come on, follow us. We don't have much time before the others need our help." Powerman explained to April to follow them. 

"What something's wrong..." Tiger felt uneasy, her cat sense were kicking in, she felt something was wrong then suddenly she turned to April and to see she had a baseball bat then wacked White Tiger with it. 

Hearing a boy's laughing as everything went dark.

Peter slowly opened his eyes to a blackness. His groggy eyes, blinking a few times till his vision was right. He lifted himself off the ground to peer at his surroundings. 

It was a void of total blackness but he could hear voices. Crying and whispering. It was like listening to thoughts or memories of people or however perhaps both. 1) 

"Where...where am I ?" He thought out loud or said out loud hearing his voice echo in the void. He wasn't sure what one. 

"You need to wake up!" a voice echo to him. 

A girl appeared stood before him glowing in shades of blue and white. It was like looking at her in reflection in water, mist or smoke, smoke shaped a form a young woman. The ghostly girl looked at him in worry and panic. Her hair moved around in the hair if she was in water or it was smoke dancing in the air. It was hard to tell what was what.  

"W-what? Who are you?" Peter asked the mysterious sprit. 

"She's in trouble and she needs your help! She can't handle it without you!"  She told him, her words echo along with voices that mimicked her saying; 

"She's my friend..."

"What do I have to do?" 

"He needs to help her!" 

"Please someone help me!" 

"India! What's wrong with her!? Tell me!" Peter stood up in fear and panic for India. Trying to ignore the weird voices. 

"Wake up Peter!" The mysterious female ordered yelling. Her blue eyes now glowed white blinding him with light.

Spiderman gasped awaking, his eyes flashed open to stare at the face of a boy. Who smiled when he realizes he awake. 

"About time spider boy." The boy giggles as he walks away. 

 Spiderman looks around and realizes his team and him are stuck to the wall, with beams around them. 

April was also in the room to, strapped to a chair passed out. At this point he wasn't sure she was alive.
