Maia and Cameron spent the whole summer together, they went to the amusment park, to the movies, to the beach, they did everything together. School started and they were both the 1st grade, happily they were in the same class. They walked every morning to the bus stop together, the sat together in class, and everytime you had to work with a partner they chose eachother. One day they were at class doing a proyect, it was about describing your best friend, and they sat together to make it about eachother "Maia, what's your last name?" Cameron asked "Gonzales, and your's?" Maia asked "Boyce" then they kept writing in their papers, they continued asking eachother questions like, favorite food, favorite color and everything like that, and Maia, who was really excited to ask said "who is your crush?"- "I don't have one" Cameron replied "aren't we best friends?" Maia asked "yes, we are! why?"- "then why won't you tell me your crush?" Maia asked "look, pinkie swear I DON'T have a crush" they did pinkie swear, but at that time it was true.
The time flew by and it was already Halloween. Cameron and Maia wanted to go trick-or-treating together and their parents sugested "Why don't you wear couple's costumes?" and they actually thought it was a good idea so they made themselves a Mickey and Minnie mouse costumes, they were the cutest kids in the whole neighborhood trick-or-treating.
Christmas came and I guess you can guess that they celebrated Christmas time together, over at Maia's. Maia bought Cameron a Ninja watch, but Cameron gave Maia a necklace, it was half a heart that said "Be- Fri-" and the other half Cameron had it and it said "-st -ends" they where officially best friends.
