Cib's eyes opened, and his first thought was
Steven.
Ignoring James' and Autumn's surprised explanations, he clambered of the couch and stumbled to where his boyfriend stood. Steven's eyes widened in shock, but Cib's lips attacked his before he could utter a single word. Steven kissed Cib back eagerly, beginning to fully realize what was happening.
Cib came back from the dead.
Steven's arms wrapped around Cib, followed by Cib's hands reaching to cup Steven's face. The smaller man's calloused thumbs wiped the tears that had begun to shed from Steven's face, and a small laugh broke the kiss.
"I can't believe I almost lost you," Steven whispered.
