Despite the fact that she was an Apple of her father's eyes, still yet he never spoil her with house chores. She is wise enough to apply all these experiences in actions even when staying with her Uncle.
She wakes up 5:00am everyday dust the cobwebs sweep the floor from the sitting room to the compound and later mob the tiled area of the house. Cooking is one of her hobbies, she can cook from today till tomorrow non-stop without getting tired.
Adeakin likes her and treats her like his daughter, he fillls the vacuum of her late father. In no time she has learnt how to drive, she drives her Uncle wherever he goes, because doctor has warned him not to drive anymore because of his bad sight. Adeakin is a very rich man all his sons and daughters are all living in abroad. But as the Christmas and new year are fast approaching all his children will all be in Nigeria to celebrate the festive period with their parents. His wife has gone to visit her last daughter in London she just delivered a set of twins she will also be returning with them when they'll be coming for Christmas and new year.
Before the arrival of the family members home any abroad. She has received a call from her friends that Jamb result is out. She went to a nearby cyber cafe to check her result she was surprised to see that she has overall scores of 310 in her Jamb. She applied for degree program in administration of justice in The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano. She has been given a date of examination which should be a week after new year. She believed being a police will help in the fight of her father's death. She promised not to relent in fighting for her father's death and bring the culprits to justice even if it requires her own life.
Festive period has now blossomed and everyone was much more available at home to celebrate. Tinuola was surprised to see the love and care everyone was showing to her including her Uncle's wife Mrs Adeakin. She and her husband stood the gap of father and mother to her, she never feel of not having parents anymore. She was overwhelmed with gifts more especially when they heard that she has been the one taking good care of Adeakin in their absence and they also saw her agility in domestic works they all gave her gifts, some showed their kindness in monetary terms, some gave her clothes some even promised to take her abroad for vacation but Adeakin was frowned on hearing that and asked jokingly " don't tell me you're stylishly taking her away from me?" Tinuola was happy because she has finally found a new home.
She likes to be seen with her cousin's daughter and son Simisola and Tejuade. They happened to be her age mate. They really like each other and hardly spare some time without each other.
One day as they were coming from a cinema. They were driving the new venza car their parents just bought for their grandpa Adeakin. They noticed a black tinted jeep trailing them from behind. Tejuade was the first to notice he said, " don't you notice a jeep behind us is following us?" " I'm not sure" replied Simisola " ok let's try to make a U-turn and see if they will also do the same," said Tejuade. They tried to make a U-turn and realized they also did the same. " You see I told you" shouted Tejuade. " What do we do now?" Simi frightened. "We need to make it a quick to get home", said Teju. " No we need to change the route and make them lost in trailing us, we shouldn't let them trace us home", replied Tinu. So they changed the route and lost them in sight.
When they got home to their surprise, they saw the same black and tinted jeep parked in a stone throw distance to their house.
