Third Person POV

Scott Hoying is a celebrity. He's seventeen year old singer who is currently on tour. He doesn't go to school, but he does have a tutor because his parents think school is important.

"Scott, you need to pay attention. I don't want to have to tell your parents." Kevin, Scott's tutor, tells him. Scott's eyes widen and he quickly shakes his head.

"Please don't do that, Kev. I'll pay attention, just don't tell them." Scott begs. His parents told him that if Kevin has to inform them one more time that Scott isn't paying attention, they will cancel his tour and send him to normal school.

"I won't, if you start listening." Scott nods and listens the rest of the session. The next session, Scott subconsciously stops listening. Kevin realizes this ten minutes into the session and sighs, shaking his head. He carries on the session as usual after reminding Scott to snap out of it.

"Mom, that's not fair!" Scott stands up.

"Yes it is, we told you that if you continue to do poorly, we will send you to school. You start tomorrow, we'll be home in five minutes so you can get your stuff together then. I'm going to set your alarm for 6:45 tomorrow morning. I expect you to be up and ready to leave at 7:15." She tells him, crossing her arms over her chest.

"But-"

"But nothing. You're going." He turns to his dad.

"Dad, help me out here."

"Sorry, Scott. We told you the consequence for your actions." Scott's dad pats him on the shoulder and walks to the back of the bus.

They get home a few minutes later and Scott immediately goes up to his room, not giving anyone a second glance. He grabs an extra book bag and starts to pack it full of school essentials. He collapses in bed and goes on Twitter, responding to a few tweets from fans. It's 10:30 at night when he decides to go to sleep. He makes sure that his alarm is set and goes to sleep.

The morning comes all too soon and Scott now has to get ready for school. He's going to Martin High School since it's only ten minutes away from his house. He does his normal routine and eats breakfast before regretfully putting on his shoes and walking outside to his car, driving off. He gets to school and goes to the main office to get his schedule. He's a little nervous for today, as he doesn't want to be bombarded with fans asking him for autographs and pictures. He may not be happy about going back to school, but he does care at least a little bit about his education.

Once he gets his schedule he walks to his assigned homeroom and sits down at a desk in the back corner of the room, figuring no one would pay him any mind if he was back there. The bell rings and he partly covers his face with his sleeve as people fill the classroom.

"Good morning, everyone." Some people respond to the teacher, most don't.

"Okay so, we have a new student today," Scott's head shoots up and his eyes widen when their teacher mentions that. "His name is Scott Hoying. Stand up, please." Scott mentally curses and stands up, smiling a bit and giving a small wave to the girls who look like they're about to cry. (Me if Scott was in my class) He sits back down and tries to ignore all the stares and pay attention.

"Today were getting our assigned seats since the class is now full," The class groans. "Oh stop that. Everyone up and to the back of the room." The class obeys and stands there until their names are called. The teacher gets to the middle of the second row when Scott hears his name.

"..Mitch Grassi, Scott Hoying.." Scott sits in his seat next to a small brunette. If you were to ask Scott to describe the boy, Mitch, he'd tell you that he looks like angel. Scott turns his attention back to the board that the teacher is now standing at, the angel still in the back of his mind.

Two months later..

Scott has gotten pretty used to school by now; he knows his classes, where they are, who they're with, etc.. But one thing he doesn't know is how to talk to the beautiful boy that he's been thinking about nonstop.

"Hey, prettyboy, stop fantasizing and maybe try eating." His friend, Avi, snaps his fingers in front of his face. Scott punches his arm but eats anyways. Scott eats a few bites before he hears the all too familiar giggling behind him. He rolls his eyes, as no one but Avi could see it, and stands up, turning around to see a group of girls standing there with copies of his last CD.

"Hi-" He doesn't even get a full sentence out when a girl screams.

"Can we have your autograph? And a picture?"

"Do you wanna come to my house later? It's really big and nice!"

"No, he's mine!" The girls all fight over Scott and he looks at Avi for help, but Avi has headphones on.

"No, Kitty, you don't understand, she literally..." Mitch trails off when he sees Scott surrounded by fan girls, an upset look on his face.

"Oh give it a rest, will ya?" Mitch mumbles under his breath, rolling his eyes as he was over to them. He shoves his way through the girls and stands in between them and Scott.

"Will you stop already? Seriously, it's been over two months and you haven't figured out how to treat him like a fucking human being. He's here for school, not as a toy y'all can fangirl over. So calm your shit and if you really care about him, you'll treat him like he's one of us." Mitch snaps at them. Some roll their eyes and walk away, but a few put up a fight.

"You're just jealous that you can't get a date and we can." One girl tells him.

"Oh really? You can get a date? With Scott Hoying?" The girl nods.

"I don't think we're talking about the same Scott Hoying, then. Because the one I'm talking about is very openly gay. A flaming homosexual. And even if he weren't, I'm sure he would have enough dignity to not date some annoying ass girl like you. Bye bye now." Mitch gives her a fake smile and waves as she storms off with her two friends. He turns around to face Scott and is in complete awe when he does.

"Hey, thanks for sticking up for me like that. It was getting pretty annoying." Mitch smiles when Scott talks to him. He's been wanting to talk to him for a while, but he was nervous. Little does he know, that's the exact reason Scott wouldn't talk to him either.

"O-Oh, it's no problem, really. I figured you wanted to get them away, at least until after school. It was nice seeing you around, Scott." Mitch gives him a small smile and starts walking back to Kirstie.

"Mitch, wait." Mitch turns back around and walks back to him.

"Yeah?"

"Would.. would you like to go to the fair with me?"

"Like, on a date?" Scott nods, "Yeah, that'd be fun. Here's my number, text me." Mitch hands him a piece of paper and walks back to Kirstie.

At the fair...

It's been a few days since Scott had asked Mitch out and they were currently at the fair.

"What do you wanna ride next?" Scott asked, looking down at Mitch.

"Um.. can we ride the Ferris wheel?" Mitch asked, biting his lip, nothing sexual, it's just a habit of his.

"Of course. Let's go." They go onto the Ferris wheel and they stop at the top so people can get on at the bottom.

"You're really nice, ya know." Mitch tells Scott, causing the blonde to look over at him.

"Thanks, Mitchy. You're really beautiful." Scott smiles when Mitch blushes and looks down. He gets a sudden surge of courage and gently tilts Mitch's head up to connect their lips in a kiss. He's relieved when he feels Mitch kiss back.

They pull away after a few moment, Mitch blushes once again as Scott stares at him. He covers his face and puts his head on Scott's shoulder, Scott chuckles, wrapping an arm around the smaller boy. He may hate school, but he's happy that this is what came out of it.
