Chapter 14: Our Future

Let's just get on with the story shall we?

Disclaimer: I'm trying to remember where I was going with this story XD Its bee a few months to years since I've touched this story. 

I will try to make the chapters long, and detailed, but its been ages so I will try!

Three weeks passed since the Noah attack in the meadow. Kanda is just as protective as ever, Lenalee and Lavi were as giggly as they always were, Bookman was always stern, and well, me being as weak and in pain as time passed. 

We moved into the ark about 2 and a half weeks ago, Neah has not stopped bugging me may I add. About a week ago I gained the next ability to tell which sounds belong to those I love. So now that concludes three abilities that I gained from the fourteenth himself. 

Miranda and Krory soon caught up about 2 weeks ago, with Link and Timothy not far behind. I did not want to trust Link, in fact I still do not. But the others seem to trust him, so I am rolling with it. But that DOES NOT mean that I have to tell him everything. I make sure my room is as far away from his as possible. 

At this point, we are just waiting on Komui, Marie, and the Generals to meet up with us which should be soon, hopefully. 

"Moyashi." Kanda walked over. I glanced at him with a huff. 

"It's Allen. A-l-l-e-n." I replied which made him smirk.

"Have you had food today?"

"Yes don't worry daddy." I teased making him grin darkly. I felt his hand grab my waist as he pulled me in kissing me deeply. I made a noise as I sunk into his sweet taste. 

"Good." He replied when he pulled back. "Come, the others are waiting for us. Can you walk?" he asked. I gave a nod as I stood. 

By the way, I'm now almost one full month into this pregnancy, and I no longer have my defined abs that I worked so hard to get. It made me sad, but at the same time, Kanda touching the small baby bump made me beyond happy. 

"Kanda," I started. "our daughter, what should we name her?" I wondered. 

That made him stop walking as he looked down at me. "What should we name her? I don't know." he said. 

I puffed out my cheeks, "then let's come up with some while we are in the group with the others." I replied as we walked into the piano room. Everyone was sitting in a circle. Lenalee was talking with Lavi while Bookman was writing in a book. Timothy was playing with Timcanpy as Link looked around. Miranda and Krory were talking softly as Kanda and I took our seats.

"Good afternoon everyone." I smiled. It was reaching about noon if we were to go by the time at the Order. 

"Yo Moyashi, Yu" Lavi waved. We grumbled at his horrific tone and snap at him for the nicknames. Lenalee giggled as everyone waved back a hello. 

"So, I have a discussion for today." I began. "Girl names." I grinned brightly. Miranda clapped excited about the topic. 

"Well, what nationality would you like the name in. English, or Japanese?" She asked. "Since she will be a mix of you two." She thought. I hummed at that. 

"Give us a list of names." Kanda said. "Of both cultures. And we will think of what we like best, or what we come up with and vote on it." I nodded agreeing with Kanda. 

"Well, what about Rose?" Krory started. "I am sure that she looks just as beautiful as she sounds in your dreams Allen." He said. 

"True," I thought smiling. "But, that's ordinary. Let's think of something unique." 

"Then what about Jaida?" Lenalee brought up. Kanda shook his head at that, "does not seem like it would fit her." He replied. 

This was going to harder that I thought. 

"Alice?" Timothy brought up. "Or how about Julie?" I shook my head at both of them not liking the sound of it. 

"Akiko?" Lavi brought up some Japanese names. "Iku? Um...Reika?" He shrugged having no clue. I stood not feeling any of those names. 

"Thanks guys but I'm not feeling any of those names." I sighed. I looked at Kanda seeing that he was stoic and silent as always. "Kanda? Have some names?" I asked.

He stood and took my hand leading me out of the room. "Hu--Kanda wait." I stammered wondering why he suddenly pulled me out. 

He sighed leaning against a building in the city of the ark. I looked at him wondering what was on his mind. "Mirai." He spoke softly. 

"Mir..ai?" I blinked. "What does that mean?" 

"For the kids name. Mirai, it means 'future' in Japanese." He looked up meeting my eyes. 

I felt a gasp leave my mouth. "that's...beautiful." I whispered. "Mirai." I thought of something. "What is angel in Japanese?" 

"Angel?" He looked up. "Tenshi." He chuckled knowing what was on my mind. 

"My name or your name?" I finally asked. 

"Your name, with Kanda as the kids last name is just weird, so, yours." he spoke. I grinned taking his hand leading the way back in. Many thoughts raced through my mind as we pieced the name together. 

The others glanced up seeing us walk back in as I spoke. "I appreciate all the thoughts that were placed into the names, but Kanda and I discovered what we would name our child." I sat down holding my stomach, caressing the small bump. 

"Mirai Tenshi Walker." I spoke. "Her first and middle name means Future Angel." I looked at Kanda beaming brightly. He nodded agreeing to the name. Cheers burst out in the room. Lenalee jumped up cheering. "That name is gorgeous!" She squealed. 

Lavi gave a thumbs up. Miranda and Krory clapped congratulating us. I looked around the room. How lucky was I to have this family with me. We were just missing a few more to join us, and then we would be complete. "5 more months..." I whispered. "Till we meet our Future Angel."

I closed my eyes imaging her in my head. 

"Our Mirai Tenshi."

I know that this chapter was late, but hey, I MADE ONE!!! I have a test tomorrow to study for so I hope this will do for now! I will try to type more. This helps me calm down and de-stress.
