Chapter 16: A Tragedy, Really?

Allen's POV

*recap* I smiled and nodded. "I am not worried about him." I took a seat followed by everyone else. We took time ordering, laughing, and talking. We told each other stories from the past two months from everyone's side, and for once, we felt safe.

That is, until I spotted Chaoji looking at me from outside the window.

My face paled seeing him pulling out his golem. I did not know how to react. Should I tell Kanda? Lenalee? I looked around the table unsure, my heart was racing as I gripped the napkin in my lap as I felt my eyes look slowly to the window again.

I breathed out not realizing I was shaking until Kanda touched my hand. "Moyashi-?" He asked but I stood. 

"Gotta run to the bathroom." I said quickly cutting him off. I sat my napkin down rushing to leave heading around the corner toward the "bathroom".

I turned walking outside covering my stomach. I was panicking inside but I had to get him out of here alone. I would not have Chaoji ruin this. If I forced him into a cell into the ark he would have no where to go but wait till we were done with dinner. 

"Chaoji." I spoke seeing him. He stiffened putting the golem away activating his innocence. I sighed as he turned to me. I knew I could not fight him so I had to deal with this quickly and calmly to not make a ruckus. "What are you doing here?"

He laughed at my question. "To take you and everyone else in, I have orders from Levellier. You betrayed the order, and turned everyone to your side. You damn Noah, you have to die and that monster inside you." He growled. My eyes flashed gold at what he called my daughter. My hand twitched at that vile word. 

"What did you just say?" I asked taking a step toward him. 

"A monster." He spoke slowly making sure I heard it. He spat it out with such hatred. "Just like you. A damn Noah. A murderer. A liar. I trickster." He kept going. "A demon."

A wanted his blood on my hand for saying that. With pure gold eyes I dove at him with him not expecting it. He tried to dodge to the side but I heard his movements...his feet sliding along the cold stone lowering his body...I heard his hard gasp giving me pleasure he was scared. My claws dug into his arm drawing out the blood as I ran passed him. He yelped out grabbing his arm to stop the blood flowing out. 

"You bitch." He growled standing straight. I gave a soft chuckle at the name.

"You can call me whatever you please but you are not calling my daughter any name you son of a-" I stopped there as he attacked me but I heard him coming. I was able to dodge with ease spinning landing softly. 

Neah was giving me energy to fight. 'He won't hurt her.' Neah whispered. I could not believe what I just heard from him but I had to keep my eyes on Chaoji. I had to win...

I had to kill him.

Kanda's POV

That damn Moyashi was taking too long to pee. Like hell on Earth his food was growing cold and last thing I wanted to do was pay for cold food. I stood with a sigh. "I am going to go check on the Bean." I told the others. I walked over to the bathroom passing many people looking at me. I shrugged them off opening the men's room only to see the urinals unoccupied.
