Chapter 19: "L"

Hello everyone!

Today's chapter is a little short and simple. Kind of boring with no real action but after the past few chapters I hope I am forgiven. UPDATE! Soooo this book is half way done, I am hoping to have about 30 chapters total or so, but who knows, there could be a book two.

*Recap, Neah's POV*

Komui took the others to their rooms as I walked with Kanda to Allen and his room. "So, Thanks for helping him." Kanda said. I was shocked at the words. "O...of course." I spoke in surprise. It was back to silence between us. 

I smiled watching him change Allen and get him ready for bed. He laid down my host and tucked him in all snug, like a burrito. I vanished going back inside Allen with a yawn. 

This group is not bad as I thought...they could just help me with my plan after all.

*CURRENT TIME. ALLEN POV*

A month had gone by since the incident with Chaoji and well, my daughter. Recovering from the injury was not hard at all, I was basically fully healed by Neah but hearing the matter after the fact was scary. I could not believe that it happened to me and that I did not remember any of it. 

I have a month or so left and I am READY for Mirai to get out. I cannot sleep, I am always eating, always tired, and I can barely move without feeling weak and out of breath. "Can't we just induce it Komui." I spoke. "Three weeks left. Three!" I whined. "With her Noah gene she will be fine."

"No, with her Noah gene she made it a faster pregnancy. Be happy it is not nine months." he snapped a little. Six it not bad. You made it to five, and now you need to finish strong." He said. 

I looked at Kanda. He chuckled but nodded. "He has a point Moyashi. I know you are in pain but we cannot rush this." He spoke. 

I frowned and looked down. "I am sick of this okay. I feel fat and heavy, I feel useless and weak." I stood walking to the window. "Mirai is something I already adore but damn this all to hell, no more!" I yelled out the window. 

Kanda sighed making me sit down. "Relax. Stressing will not help you in any way. One more month, that is all you have to think about." He said. "I am sure that you and I will make this month go by fast." He smiled. 

I looked up at him and nodded. "All right....all right." I leaned my head back. "Deal, but you owe me a date night each week." 

"Deal." He agreed. 

Komui got the test done making sure all my vitals and health was fine. The process was weekly at this point and I was far beyond done with it. I just wish it was all over. A few more weeks...you can do this Allen.

Kanda and I walked around the ark as usual after every test. I saw the others playing around, moving with will and happiness, it was nice to not have anyone telling us what to do, and no one fighting. The Noah's have not showed up still since a few months ago and the few akuma we see around in towns we deal with quickly. 

We make a living from small jobs around the town we shop in. Kanda is a sword craftsman and he is very good at it. He works with this elder guy that needed help a few days a week so he works there a few hours forging and fixing swords.
