(April's POV)

I couldn't sleep last night, maybe because I've managed to lost my NEW hearing aid at school...

I got at school early, so I sat at any empty desk and tried to take a nap before the teacher arrives, I rested my head on my right hand and closed my eyes.

Out of nowhere someone pushed my arm making me hit my head at the table, when I looked up I saw everybody laughting at me, but suddenly they stopped...

I looked behind me and there he was, he was shaking his mouth, but I couldn't understand what he was saying, it seemed like he was just "faking" it, but then he came closer to me, handing the hear aid that my mom bought... he found it!... oh... now he knows it... he have it to me, weird, he was smiling, it looked like he was trying to say... sorry?

I took it from his hand, he gestured me to put it, so I do as he says...

But that's when it happened... the hearing aid started to make a loud noise, I could hear it loud and clear, beacuse the aid was turned on, I don't know how he managed to do it, I just wanted it to stop, I tried to take it off but I couldn't, it was like he had passed some tipe of glue on it...

- "Please take it off!!" I scream, but he didn't seemd to care

Other people were staring at me, some wore worried, others didn't care, but the only one laughting at it was him...

I was kneeling on the floor when the loud noise stopped, I looked up to see him looking at me with a devilish look, he crouched next to me and lifted up my chin, so we could look at each other's eyes...

He pulled the hearing aid of my ear, making me feel more pain, and started to talk...

- "Now you know what will happen to you if you try to get close to us, you're a monster, you're not like us and will never be considered as one, you're not human, you're just a mistake... deafy"

I looked at his lips all the time, but when the last word got out of his mouth, I felt my eyes blurry... I got up fast and ran to the bathroom.

When I got there I look at my face at the mirror to see my eyes watering... I- I was... crying... but, I never cryied because of my deafness, people used to make fun of me, but I never cared... so why now?... why with him?
