(Intermission)

Since there is still things that are missing from the series and some information, I wanted to warn you, I will be making some things up. Especially toward the end of season 1 events.

Basically I'm not going to follow half of what's going on and make a new way the rocks kinda end, I guess.

Also if you guys want bloopers once we get toward the main storyline of season 1, I can add a little blooper moment. Just like how they do in Pixar movies.

ONE more thing, there will be singing! We all know what happened to Eugene/Flynn when he didn't follow.

So without further ado, on with the story!

Chapter 7 -
New Sights Through Varian's Brilliance

×××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××

Cooking, Cleaning, Helping Varian and his dad, helping some villagers. Basically helping when you want or when you can because it wasn't exactly fair that you stay without repaying the two who are so kind to you. Though there was something unusual one day when you woke up to do what you do everyday.

Actually, Quirin and Varian noticed too. You would rub your eyes or rub your temples more than usual. Even when you help Varian, he would ask you to hand him something and it took about 7 minutes if it was something across the room. You thought it was because you weren't sleeping well since everything was hazy. Yes, you could see, but more in a fuzzy vision.

Sometimes you'd seen certain things you needed or wanted to find was outlined in a with a blurry hue, depending on the color of the object. Though after awhile, your eyes hurt. Quirin would watch your eyes squint when you're looking for something far before you'd rub your eyes.

Varian came down from his lab and seen you were feeding birds out front. “Hey (____).” He sits next to you and smiles at the birds.

You smile, “Hey. Let me guess, you want me to test something again.”

Varian grins, taking some bird food and tossing it to the birds, “Yes, but this time its harmless.”

You raise a brow, “You always say that.”

He laughs and stands, waving to follow, “I promise that THIS test is something really harmless.”

Varian dug around for something and mumbled, throwing random things behind him. You nearly got hit once or twice. “Found it! Hopefully this isn't a fail, especially for something simple!”

“Close your eyes.”

You stare at him and cross your arms, “And what happened the few times I did that?”

Varian thinks then smiles sheepishly, “Okay, but just this once. Humor me.”

You sigh and close your eyes, “This better be something that'll singe my hair again.”

Varian looks at the ends of your hair that were singed then up at his bangs that were the same. “No……..no it won't.” He takes something out of a small rectangular box.

Something cool and thin is slipped in front of your closed eyes and you feel it goes behind your ears too.

“There. Now open.”

You do so and see everything clearly. You eyes move to Varian who is staring at you. To be honest, it was getting awkward when he didn't say anything and just stared. “What?” You reach up to your eyes, pushing up…. Glasses? You take it off and examine it. The frames were some type of silver metal and the lense were perfectly cut so it wasn't too big.
