Chapter 2

After the concert, we went backstage immediately. But many people were already there. We were about 20 feet away from the table. Probably not that far because I can see TOP's emerald-colored hair. They all looked cute and handsome, but I was really looking forward to see Seung-hyun. I hope he still have the same attitude. I thought. Will he like me? I thought again. I was very anxious yet nervous to see him. I think James noticed it because he said, "Don't worry, Seung-hyun hyung (hyung-brother) will remember you." He smiled at me. I smiled back. That gave me a bit of confidence, but I bit my lip. 2 more persons in the line and I'm next. I was really nervous, I didn't know what to do if I'm going to face him. Finally it's my turn. "Annyeong, oppa. (Hello)" I bowed first. He smiled, the same way I remebered. "Annyeong." He said and he signed the notebook I handed him. "What's your name?" He asked. "I-I'm Kate." I said nervously. He looked at me and he placed a smiley in it. "My friend and you have the same name. I don't know where she is." He said slowly. He didn't speak English fluently. "I have a friend who also has a name like you. I went to South korea before when I met him." I smiled, because he might recognize me. His eyes widened. He looked at me and slowly his smile was appearing. "Kate? Chinchaa ji? (Really)" I noodded. He stood up and hugged me. "ohlenmanipnida. eoddukejinaeshuteoyo? (It's been a long time. How have you been?)" He asked as we broke off. "jaljinaeyo. (I'm fine, thanks.)" I said. Finally, he knew me. I thought. He called out the other members (GD, Daesung, Taeyang and Seungri) and they greeted me back. "kidari chushipshio, ok? (wait for me)" He said. "Ne." I said as I took my notebook and went out of the line. James was waiting for me. "So, how was it?" He asked. "Great. He recognized me." I jumped up and down. "That's great! Bet you two will be talking, I should go." He said. "Are you sure? It's late. Surely Seunghyun would want to see you." I said. "Nah, maybe next time. Don't worry." He said. I waved goodbye as James left.

The signing was finished. TOP decided that we'd go for a walk in the park. "hwag-sil-hae? (Are you sure)" I asked. He nodded. It was already 12 midnight. We were walking alone in the park, he was wearing his hoodie and cap, hoping he would not be seen and he broke the silence. " I missed you." He said. He knew that I was not that good in speaking Korean, maybe some basic words but I never learned. I smiled, my insides were shaking. "I missed you too." I said. "Taeyang taught me speaking in English, a bit." He said, his sentences were incomplete, but fully understandable. "I understand it's hard speaking English, for you. Don't worry. I'll teach you." I looked at him and he smiled. "Thank you." he said. We talked for couple more hours,I thought him some more English words, he treated me for breakfast. We were awake until 4 in the morning. The sun was rising while we were sitting near a lake when he said, "I never thought I would find you again." He said. My tutoring was working. "Me too." I said. He suddenly hugged me, I never expected it but I hugged him back. I finally spent more time with my best friend.

He took me back home. When I turned around to say bye to him, I saw a boquet of roses in front of me. And he was at the back. "I bought this one from the flower shop we walked in earlier." He said. I didn't knew he would buy it. Roses cost much you know. I was flattered. "T-thanks." I said. He smiled. "We'll see each other tomorrow then". He said. I was totally blushing. "yeah, sure." I said. He kissed me on the cheeks, he waved at me and went inside his car. I went inside the house and I started jumping. I mean, come on. One of the most popular and handsome Korean was your bestfriend and he just kissed you. James heard me from the kitchen, "Hey. You came back. How was the date?" He asked. I smiled. "Perfect. Just perfect." I went up to my room, James looking at me like I was crazy.
