Part 11

It's been about a week since my audition. Cassie and I are getting ready to take JJ and Rosie to the movie theater to see 'Wreck it Ralph'. I've just changed into jeans, converse and a short sleeve solid blue shirt and grabbed a sweatshirt incase the theater is cold. I walk into the living room to wait for my sisters. As I enter I see dad grinning like a mad man.
"What?" I ask laughing a bit
"That was Bobby" he says gesturing to his phone in his hand. My eyes practically pop out of my head. I've been waiting all week to hear how my audition went.
"What'd he say?" I ask not expecting too have gotten the part.
"You got it" Dad says smiling proudly
"What?" I ask shocked
"You got the part!" He exclaims "you're the new Riley Winchester"
"Really!" I say seriously and he nods smiling "oh my god!" I exclaim happily.
"We leave in three days for filming" he says and I nod as he hugs me. "I'm so proud of you"
"What's going on?" Mom asks walking into the room
"I got the part!" "She got the part!" Dad and I say at the same time.
5 days later:
Dad, Uncle Jared, and I got to Canada two days ago. We had the table read yesterday and today is day one of filming and I am so excited.
"You excited?" My hair and makeup artist asks me as I sit in her chair, her doing my makeup.
"Astatic" I say and she laughs as dad and Uncle J walk in. Filming was a tad awkward at first but as the day went on and shenanigans pursued, I got more comfortable. At the end of the day it was extremely fun but extremely exhausting. We got back to Dad and Uncle Jareds apartment. Once there I take a quick shower and take off my days makeup. Changing into a sweatshirt, shorts, and fuzzy socks. I grab my phone to go out on the deck and call Kyle. I can't wait too tell him about today. I sit down on the patio chair and listen to my phone ringing.

"Hey hot stuff" He answers causing me to roll my eyes and laugh 

"Sup loser" I joke

"Ouch" He mock offends "How was your first day as a hot shot actress?"

"Not so sure about that job description but it was amazing. So fun. Really tiring" I say and he laughs 

"I bet." He says "Any pranks on the newbie today?"

"Indeed. Your father placed a fake prop in the bunker so when I went to go pick it up it broke and I thought I did it. Oh! And then they wouldn't stop making faces off screen so I kept messing up" I explain and hear if chuckle

"You've officially been initiated into the cast!" He jokes and I laugh "I have to go to bed but I will talk to you tomorrow yeah?"

"Yeah" I smile "Bye"

"Bye" He says and I hang up.
