"Thats... thats Jess and Gabriel Conte. But they live in L.A." I say excited and confused "Kyle what are we doing at a bowling alley with Jess and Gabe? And why are they in Sydney?"

"They are in Australia for the summer to see Jess's family. I emailed them and got them tickets to the panel and told them how much you love them and they suggested bowling." He explains and I jump up and hug him and when we pull apart he takes my hadn and we walk over to them.

"Hey guys! I'm Kyle. This is Diana." Kyle says to them

"Yeah man hey whats up" Gabe says and they do a high five bro hug

"Hey" Jess says to me and gives me a hug.

"Yeah! Hi! Sorry I'm just so surprised" I say to her and she just laughs a little in understanding.

"You guys ready to get started? We already bought the game so now we just need to go get shoes." Gabe says

"Aww man you didn't have to pay for the game" Kyle says as he puts his hand on my back

"Hey it was no problem. We're just so excited we get to meet you two and go to a convention." Jess says smiling.

After two games we decide to go into some more stores. Jess an I are looking around together and the guys found a place to sit.

"You two are so cute." Jess says to me

"What?" I ask

"You and Kyle. How long have you two been together?" She asks me

"Oh no! He and I are just friends."

"Oh I'm sorry I just assumed. I mean y'all were holding hands and I mean he likes you."

"He doesn't like me"

"Sweet that boy is crazy for you. Anyone could see it. And its obvious that you are crazy about him too."

"I'm not and neither is he. Why do people keep saying that?" I say frustrated

"Do you seriously not even think you two could be a thing?"

"I... I guess. I mean I'm only 16."

"Yeah? I was 17 when Gabe and I met." She says to me "Diana do you have feelings for him?" She asks me.

"You are going to think I'm crazy." I say to her

"Try me." For some reason I feel totally comfortable telling Jess all my dirty little secrets.

"I... I really really like him. I think I'm falling for him." I say hesitantly

"And that scares you?" She asks

"More than anything." I say

"Good thats how its supposed to be" She says to me and I smile at her.

"Hey you ladies ready? We're going to go walk on the beach." Kyle says and we nod and walk out of the store. We are walking on the beach and Kyle and I are a few feet in front of Jess and Gabe.

"Hey Diana?" Kyle says

"yeah?" I ask stopping with him.

"I was talking to Gabe earlier and I... I wanna try something. Okay?" He asks me and I nod curiousity filling me. And he leans down with a hand on my cheek and kisses me. I kiss back but quickly pull back.

"I have to go..." I say to him and walk away and hear Jess following me. I speed walk all the way to the hotel with Jess on my heels.

"Hey will you slow down? Whats going on?" Jess says to me and I turn to her in hysterics

"He kissed me. Why did he kiss me? Why did he think that, that was a good idea?" I cry and she puts her hand on my shoulder. "He and I can't be anything. I... my life is just so complicated right now and he knows that! I mean 6 months ago noone knew who I was and now? Everyone does. My mom died 5 months ago and I just started playing th piano again. I haven't played in five months! I am finally moving on. Things are going well and he does that." I rant

"Honey just an hour ago you were telling me you were falling for him." She says

"So? That doesn't mean I can have him. We cant always get what we want. I'm sorry I don't know why I'm telling you all this its just since everything changed aside from Kyle you are the first person I feel like I can be me around." I explain

"Diana its okay I need you to calm down okay." She says "Hey why don't we sit down?" She suggets and I slide down the wall next to my and dads room door. "Okay. He kissed you. Its not like he proposed right?" She chuckles

"You don't get it. I'm not good at the whole relationship thing. He kissed me. I didn't know how to react so I ran." She sits down next to me and nods her head and opens her arms. I lay my head on her shoulder and she hugs me while I cry. "God he probably hate me" I say and she puts her head on top of mine.

"He doesn't hate you" She says and then we hear Gabe and Kyle talking and walking towards us. Kyle stares at me and rolls his eyes. He turns and opens up the door to his and his dads room which is right across from mine and my dads. He walks inside and invites gabe in who politely declines. Kyle nods and thanks him and closes the door. Gabe then came and sat on the other side of me.

"He does hate me Jess." I sigh still laying on her shoulder and she is still hugging me. "Look y'all I'm sorry I ruined today with this." I apologize

"Hey" Gabe says patting my knee "You have nothing to be sorry for" I smile at him and stand up.

"Thank you guys... for everything. It was a fun day for the most part. I should go in now." I say

"Of course!" Jess exclaims "We had fun too. Call me if you need me" She says and her and gabe walk away. I walk inside my room and find my dad and Jared there eating pizza and talking.

"Hey honey how was it?" Dad asks and I just ignore him not wanting to open my mouth. Afraid to cry again. "Diana?" He says and looks up at me

"It was fine"

"Whats wrong?" Jared asks

"Nothing" I shrug "I'm fine" I say and turn around to get comfy clothes out

"Small fry why are you crying?" Dad asks me and I let out a wry chuckle and tilt my head back rolling my eyes.

"Because I'm stupid... I am so stupid." I say "But it doesn't matter. I'm fine." I say and hear a knock on the door. I open it and see Kyle there. He clears his throat.

"I thought you went out with Jess." He says and I just shake my head no. "Is my dad here?" He asks clearly annoyed. I open the door all the way and signal for him to come in.

"Hey son" Jared says

"Whats wrong?" Dad asks

"Nothing. I'm good. I was just looking for dad. I thought maybe Diana went out with Jess. Sorry I shouldn't have come over." Kyle says and starts to leave

"Well wait now why shouldn't you have come over?" Dad asks but Kyle ignores him and continues leaving.

"Kyle... wait I'm sorry" I say and he ignores me and leaves.
