Part 3

Today is Friday. It is the end of my first week back at school. I easily got back into my normal routine.

Wake up at 5:30

Scroll through my phone until 5:45

Go in my bathroom and wash my face, teeth, and put contacts in until around 6

Do my hair and makeup until 6:40

I get dressed. And start my walk to school at 7 and get there at 7:15.

My first period is Math

Second period is Honors Biology

Third period is honors chorus

Fourth period is honors English

School gets out at 3 and we have cheerleading practice until 5 every Monday and Wednesday and football games on Friday.

Since today is Friday and we have a game at 7:30 I decided to ask Danneel if some of the cheer team could come over after school and get ready together.

"Hey Diana! So are we going to get ready after school together today?" Kaylee, one of the girls on the team asks me at lunch.

"Not sure. Let me text Danneel and ask her if its okay y'all come over." I reply. I look over to the right and see Cassy talking to some guy who I think is new. She is smiling. That's nice to see. I haven't seen that in a long time.

Me- Hey dee is it okay if some girls from the cheer team come over so we can get ready together before the game?

Danneel- Of course sweetheart! I'll make snacks and stuff for you girls!

Me- Thank you!

"Danneel said its cool" I say to Kaylee, Caroline, and Bonnie.

"Great! So meet up at your locker after school then?" Caroline suggests and I nod and smile.

"Hey guys" Kyle says sitting next to me in the courtyard.

"Hey you guys ready for the big game tonight?" Kaylee asks Kyle and Kyles football friends; Tyler and Landon.

"Oh yeah! We are gonna kill it!" Landon says and we all laugh.

"Hey you think your parents will be chill if I bring Landon and Tyler to dinner tonight before the game?" Kyle asks me

"I don't see why not. The girls are coming over." I say to him stealing one of his grapes.

"K cool." He says smiling back at me.

A few hours later and its time to finally go home. Me and the girls meet up and walk to my house. When we get there we walk in and Danneel has set up makeup and hair stations in the living room and Gen is there too.

"Hey! This looks amazing!" I say to Danneel

"Well its just something my cheer team used to love to do before games." She said to me

"Danneel, Gen, these are my friends, Caroline, Bonnie, and Kaylee." I introduce everyone.

"Great to meet you girls!" Danneel says.

"Hey D did you forget something?" I hear dad say and turn around with the biggest smile.

"DAD!" I shout and run up to him giving him a hug. He picks me up and spins me arounf.

"You miss me small fry?" He asks me and I laugh.

"Ehhh" I say and he gasps faking hurt. Just then The padaleckis plus Landon and Tyler walk in.
