Inspiration//
I don't remember exactly what inspired me to write the Clubhouse, it just sort of popped out of my head onto paper. I was trying to refine my writing really, I was in the middle of my semester and I needed something to cheer me up. Cause college sucks all year round. (laughs) I knew I wanted to do a -anything goes- type of book. I just had to figure out where I wanted to take it. This book was really unpredictable, it turned into something entirely different.

Additional Notes;
- Originally it was just going to be a relationship between Milo&Kellan. My Bestfriend Is My Lover. That same dynamic that was created here would have been in their book. But somehow Dejan popped up as a love interest, and then Adrian sort of came in, then a poker night was created, and I ended up trying to twist that scenario as much as possible. Turned into the gay Clubhouse.
- Every character just sort of popped in and took on their own persona. For instance, when I introduced Cam. He's this UFC champion, the youngest in the bunch. Then I create his bestfriend Aaron whose this slut/brainiac. Then Adrien brings in his love interest Justin whose this sexy marine biologists with a cute edge. They just popped in in the spot as I was writing. I just was thinking like who'd be cute with Adrian? Then Liam the sappy assistant got created. It was fun to think and write on the spot. Nothing was planned.
- I know the Clubhouse was confusing, a lot. So that's why I've brought it to completion. It's my first time working with more than 10 characters so it was rough. I'm used to only 4, 2 if I'm really into it. It was a good challenge though and I think I did good considering what it turned out to be.
