One of their missions was picking up trash and any litter as public services.

"This is our gear," Kakashi Sensei said, handing them each a bag and a pair of tongs. "Let's get to it!"

"Ewww," Sakura grimaced, the soggy, dirty napkin hardly doing any favors for her. She had been assigned to pick up any disposable trash that would be sent directly to a landfill. She was entirely unhappy the heat was doing to her skin and makeup, and the smell was making everything worse.

Qui and Naruto collected any bottles, stray pieces of glass, and any material that could be recycled. Qui rolled the recycling bin, and Naruto picked up the bottles. After every half-hour, they switched. Sasuke took care of any trash from remaining weapon debris or dangerous exploding remains of a paper bomb.

Since they were petty children who still cared how much work they each did, no one made clones to pick up the pace. If Naruto made clones and did all the work, Qui wouldn't do anything and to him, that wasn't fair. So in the end, they split the work by increments of time spent.

"I can't believe they are making us pick up trash!" Sakura huffed in anger, stabbing viciously at some old newspaper.

"Yeah! You're so right, Sakura-chan," Naruto groused. "I want to hurry up and get a real mission! not do this stuff!"

Sasuke only grunted in reply. He silently agreed with his two teammates. He glanced at his third teammate questioningly.

Qui caught his look and responded, "I actually prefer doing small missions than head straight into combat."

Two hours later, Sakura was still doing her part of the job, and Naruto had just clunked in the last soda can from the streets. Qui snapped the lid of the bin shut and dragged it next to Sasuke's box of debris.

"Naruto, help me!"

"Aww, do I have to?" Naruto whined. Kakashi Sensei looked up from his perch.

"Oh, great idea. You three, help Sakura. Sakura, pick up the pace, or you'll drag the team down."

A collective team groan ran around, but minutes later, the job was done.

"Sasuke-kun, want to go to the park? O-Or maybe hang out?" Sakura offered, her perfect blush coming back.

"Unbelievable," Qui snorted and took out the puzzle she had kept in her pocket. Sakura whirled to face her.

"What's so funny?" Sakura demanded angrily.

"Asking Sasuke on a date is like asking you to gain weight," Qui sneered, waltzing past her teammate.

"Hn," Sasuke responded, heading towards the training grounds.

"What do you suggest then?" Sakura shouted at Qui's retreating back. The blue-haired girl stopped, visibly dropped her shoulders in an exasperated sigh before turning on her heel to face Sakura.

"It's literally staring at you in the face." Qui spun around and headed aimlessly away from Sakura.

"What is?!"

One of their missions was to help a fellow photographer taking pictures of the advertisements in the newspapers. So Team Seven ganged up at the market and took photos of all kinds of discounted fish, vegetables, fruit, and fresh pastries.

After a tedious adventure of taking endless photos of all the market goods, Team Seven went to the photographer's house to develop the pictures in the black room.

"Oh, this is so nice and peaceful," Sakura sighed, taking a picture of the landscape. "Life is made for those breathtaking moments, right Sasuke-kun?"

"Asthma."

"What?"

"You said 'breathtaking moments,'" Qui said, smiling at her own joke. "That's asthma."

"You're weird," Sakura snarked back.

"And you're disappointing," Qui replied.

"Stop arguing," Sasuke ordered, stepping in between the two girls. "We have things to get done."

Naruto promptly spilled a ton of acid on the worktable, which resulted in sending Sakura to the market to go get more.

"Naruto, stop being a klutz!" Sakura scolded, whacking him on the head with the empty acid bottle. Dangerous gases were filling up the room, so Team Seven evacuated the office.

"We're very sorry!" They apologized to the photographer who was rather lovely about the whole incident and waved them off. However, because of the mishap and damage, their pay would be deducted.

"Sakura?"

Sasuke looked over at Qui who lied on the boulder, giving him a bored impression. Today was another wonderful mission for Team Seven to help out on a farm. Naruto and Sakura were in different parts of the farm, and only Qui and Sasuke were stuck together in the vegetable garden.

During a previous mission, Qui had to watch Sakura for over three hours in a shopping mall because Kakashi Sensei declared the girls needed some "girl time."

Spending time with Sakura was boring. Shopping was alright, but Sakura clearly wasn't.

"Mhm."

"So it's revenge now?"

Qui sniffed uncaringly. "No, revenge is beneath me. However..." She gave him a sly smile.

"Accidents may happen."
