Uncle Igo was traveling in unknown or unmapped whereabouts with his two companions. He had important work to do, but he always had time to read the letter from his niece. His work was absolutely secretive, for the sake of her safety and his. That's why he made the quail jar "mailbox." No one could track it and only letters went through.
Qui's letters were often written over a few days, usually in the evening. She would write the date, then the heading, and head right into the body paragraphs, detailing to him what went through her day. However, instead of ending the letter with a closing and signature, she would wait until the next day with a new date and body paragraphs. If he asked any queries, she wrote out his question and answered it.
Uncle Igo wrote one long letter, condensing the past week into one long letter with multiple pages and drawings. He usually wrote in chronological order from day to day and brought up the most interesting things that occurred. Then, if she asked any questions, he answered them a page titled "Enlightenment!!!."

Dear Uncle Igo,
Lady Tsunade, one of the legendary Sanin, is our Fifth Hokage. I think she's intimidating. She has this no-nonsense air about her and can pack a powerful punch with a side serving of concussions. She also is a great medic and healed Sasuke and Kakashi Sensei. Great, I guess I'm a little relieved to be sent on missions again. Overall, her reign has brought a sense of peace in Konoha again.
Missions are more difficult. We were sent to the Land of Rice for the safety of a bunch of travelers and merchants heading to the Land of Currant. Sakura broken arm, but thanks to Lady Tsunade, she'll be alright. I have a major headache and minor concussion. We fell from a balcony that thankfully wasn't too far from a story and a half up from the ground. It wasn't the least bit pretty, no matter how high it was.

Team Seven is falling apart. I was never the type to keep everyone together, and I suppose some of the blame or reason why no one is a "team" is on me. I told you a couple times in my previous two letters that Sasuke and Naruto were frienemies, right? Rivals who often went head to head and competed in everything possible.
The past couple days were really tense. Sasuke was colder, and Naruto was...angrier with his entire demeanor. Both don't seem to be getting along any better and frankly, it's immature and pathetic. Even Sakura couldn't do anything to change Naruto and make him a little nicer.
I got a haircut. Or call it a heavy trim. I can't use my hair sticks anymore, but luckily it's long enough to braid and pin away in a secure bun. I think it's just a little shorter than Sakura's hair.

Holy smoke. I don't believe what Sasuke just told me.
So this morning, Sasuke was hospitalized from yesterday and Team Seven, except for Kakashi Sensei, went to visit him. Then suddenly, he just demanded to fight Naruto.
The strangest thing is Naruto didn't seem surprised. In fact, he responded as though he had been waiting to hear Sasuke say that. They went to the rooftops and faced each other off.
I tried to talk sense into that prideful boy. That was fun. Sasuke just told me to shut up and the match began. Neither boy held back, and when Sakura ran between to stop them and in danger of being killed by either attack, Kakashi Sensei appeared, adverting both attacks into a water reservoir.
It was really bad. The mood, I mean. So bad, all I could do was just stand there. Kakashi Sensei went after Sasuke, and Jiraiya Sensei looked after Naruto. Sakura clung to me for comfort. I felt a feeling of blankness. Nothingness. I was overwhelmed by emotion and didn't know what to do. I didn't know what to say or do. I felt kind of hopeless.
That wasn't even the most shocking part. Well, Naruto and Sasuke fighting wasn't really a big surprise. I almost expected it, but the entire way the unresolved fight ended made me feel...vulnerable. It doesn't concern me directly, but I just felt uneasy.
Anyways, the most shocking part was when Sasuke told me (much later) that he was going to leave Konoha and pursue his goal of defeating Itachi elsewhere. I think he's stupid and brilliant at the same time. He's stupid because he let anger and revenge cloud his vision. He's brilliant because he doesn't have a system of power stop him from reaching his potential as a ninja.
Everything is falling apart, but I don't mind it--the team--falling apart. I kind of just trust it. I felt really negative about the whole situation with Sasuke and Naruto, but it's post-fight, and I don't feel bad at all. It sounds really weird, I know.
I am kind of over the shock that Sasuke is leaving. I don't think I'll stop him. Albeit, he is going to get into tons of trouble. Should I stop him?
His niece list of answers to his questions was on another sheet of paper. He skimmed through those quickly and turned his attention back to the main letters.
Uncle Igo raised an eyebrow at the news. Was her teammate leaving? Well, that sounded extreme to him. But he agreed with his niece; the system wouldn't stand in his way of revenge or waste his time with pointless events, such as minor missions and team bonding exercises.
Well, I've never really cared for the ninja education system all that much, no matter the country, he thought, refolding the letter. Konoha's probably the nicest to their Genin.
I'd say, try helping him stay out of trouble, but don't sweat it if he eventually leaves. He's a headstrong boy and knows what he wants and he's super determined to get it. Let him learn from his mistakes and find his own path. Not all children turn to be good eggs. Even if they came from the same nest.
Uncle Igo looked thoughtfully at his companions. They were muttering among themselves but looked back questioningly at him. He only wiggled his free hand cheerfully and rummaged in his bag to continue writing his letter and respond to his niece.
Some turn rotten.
