"Savi!" My sister Chelsea ran up to me and we collided in a flurry of clothes and chatter. She was doing most of the chatter part.

"Oh, my god, when you told us you had been touring with One Direction, I, like died. That is so flippin' amaZayn!" she gushed, using Zayn's name as word as I used to. I roll my eyes at her wordplay.

"The journey so far has been extraordinHarry and your outfit looks fabuLouis. This book I just read was phenomeNiall and that movie was brilLiam," I smirk and cross my arms in a "beat that" look.

"Whatever. lets go find mom and dad," We navigate through the jungle of a airport and make it safely to long term parking, where my blue Bug rest safely. Mom and Dad are parked right next to me and when they see me, Mom's face lights up with joy and runs up to me just like Chelsea did. I don't know how she manages that in four inch stilettos without breaking an ankle, but she does.

"It is so good to see you, I still have to buy groceries for Thanksgiving, I can't believe you've been touring with One Direction! i want to hear all about it, don't leave out a single detail, how was your flight? Did you sleep well? It is so good to see you!" She strings all her statements and questions together, sounding like a hyperactive chipmunk, but after eighteen years, I'm used to it.

"It's good to see you, too, Mom," I say with a chuckle as I extract myself from her embrace and go to hug Dad, who says pretty much the same thing everyone else has been saying.

I'm grateful that I left my car at the long term parking area so for now, I can avoid the brick load of questions that are probably be dropped upon me when I get home.

*************

Just as I predicted, as soon as we get home, Chelsea and Mom bombard me with questions about touring and the boys'. My boys. It warms my heart every time I remember how Zayn made me part of his family.

I tell them everything--almost. No way was I going to tell them about the drinking, Strip Go Fish, kissing Harry, kissing Niall, Harry confessing his love for me and Niall confessing his love for me. Those last four things I could barely comprehend myself. I definitely wasn't telling them I fell in love with not one, but TWO of the band members.

They get a god laugh from the panty raid story, though, and I don't need to tell them about Niall and the bus accident since it was all over the news.

"All right, let’s go do that Thanksgiving shopping I procrastinated about until Savannah came home so you both can carry them," Mom smiles mischievously when I wrap up my story and we take her car to the nearest Wal-Mart, that's crowded with all kinds of people who had also procrastinated and were doing their Thanksgiving shopping today.

"Thank God I bought the turkey early," i hear Mom mumble under her breathe and I'm grateful for her smart thinking right now, too. By the looks of the turkey area, you'd practically have to do some weird, flat lining kung fu move just to claim one.

We make it out of the store alive, but still loaded with groceries that I know Mom isn't going to help with.

I groan inwardly. Happy Thanksgiving.

*************

The next morning, Mom wakes us up at the ass crack of dawn and after a double shot of espresso, Chelsea and I are like the energizer bunny on crack. We're bouncing around the kitchen, cooking cleaning, dirtying, cleaning again. I feel like I'll never run of energy and then BAM!

Crash. We go from jackrabbits to slugs and plop ourselves down on the couch with Dad to take a break.

By noon, most of the sides are done and the turkey is halfway there.

Finally, after all the flour, potatoes, yelling, arguing, cooking, and preparing, it everything is ready. I sit down with my family and the time comes when we go around saying what we're thankful for.

"I'm thankful to be here today, with my family, unharmed and safe, I am thankful that I have the opportunity to tour with One Direction and that that Niall came out alive from the bus accident. i am especially thankful for the my families,"

The food is devoured within a matter of minutes and the women are left to clean up the mess. Thankfully, all that turkey made Mom sleepy so she said we could put it off until tomorrow morning.

I was lounging around in my room when I got a FaceTime request from Zayn. I opened it up and soon all five boys filled the screen of my iPhone.

"Hi Savi!" they chorused.

"Hey, you guys, how are you all in the same place, I thought Niall went to Ireland?" I question.

"He came here just a few hours ago so when we go back, we can all go back together," Zayn explains.

"Ohh. Well, hi. It's good to hear from you, how was your little vacays?" I asks politely. They tell me all about how they've been staying at Zayn's new flat with five bedrooms and a game room, sort of like the other house in England that I stayed at. I hear about pranks, gaming, and relaxing. This was definitely a much needed vacation.

"What about you, Savannah? How've you been?" ask Harry.

"Oh, nothing exciting. I just finished eating Thanksgiving dinner and now everyone's passed out from all the turkey. From the size of the turkey, we're gonna be eating leftovers 'till New Years," This gets everyone to chuckle.

"So, when are we going back to touring?"

Louis shrugs. "When do you wanna go back? We could take a whole five days off if we wanted,"

I shake my head, disagreeing. "No way. Your fans would hate that. We should head back after tomorrow 'cause we're buying and decorating a tree tomorrow and I don't want to miss that,"

They nod and agreement. "We should get our tree tomorrow, too. You guys wanna do it?" asks Liam. the agree and it's set. We'll all be decorating trees tomorrow.

Suddenly, Chelsea burst into my room, chattering about some nail polish color she discovered.

"It would go so great with you ski8n tone and--" Her eyes grow wide when she sees who I'm FaceTiming with.

"Oh, my god, that's One Direction!" she squeals. I cringe, knowing that Harry hates when girls fangirl infront of him.

"No shit, Sherlock. Now get out of my room before I tell them about that one time with Chase Atwood," I threaten.

"No! Please, just let me say hi to them," She actually gets onto the ground and clasps her hands together, begging me.

"Fine. But make it quick,"

All in one breath, she says, "Louis you're f-ing hilarious and I love carrots too, Harry your hair flip is wayy better then Justin Bieber's, Zayn your hair is amaZayn and I hope you quit smoking because we don't want to lose you! And Niall, you Irish cutie, you look good blonde or brown, nobody cares,"

They're good sports about it and laugh at some of the compliments, but mostly blush at the nice ones.

"And--" she starts to say, but never gets a chance to finish because I shove her out the door before she can.

"I love you guys!" she screams through the door. I wince and the boys just laugh.

"Well, we gotta go eat our own dinner, so we'll see you tomorrow, Savannah," says Liam. The boys groan and reluctantly sign off.

"Bye," I whisper to myself even after they're gone. A tear escapes my eyes and I realize I'm actually homesick. Homesick for my home away from home. I laugh little to myself and fall into a turkey induced slumber.
